  1. they really won't shut up until everyone would retake test 3 and 5! this is so frustrating...
  2. how can they tell if a student who attended the three concerned review center indeed attended the final session? even if the student enrolled in the final coaching (which is a week or so before the exams), they is no proof that they indeed present during the final session....
  3. released by PRC just before lunch time. couldn't find it on inq, mb and philstar websites. PRC website is currently down. can somebody post it please? a friend who went there told me that both her and my name's aren't on the list, thank god for that! :)
  4. the list of those who would retake is finally posted at prc! anyone who can post the list?
  5. any of u guys got any ideas how will they come up with the 1,687 students that would retake test 3 and 5? i have a feeling that those who got a rating of FLAT 75% would be included. well, i really hope that won't be the case, or I'll sure be in a huge trouble...
  6. where do u live? im here near novaliches but can meet up at banawe or along PRC
  7. i hope someone would answer caloy's question. coz im confused at the way the US reacts to the NLE leak issue. we dont need the NLE to take the NCLEX so why make a fuss about the NLE leak if the US have their own qualifying exams...
  8. i rceved a text message saying that there will be a meeting of those who passed the exam at the st thomas square at mcdo to plan an action regarding the aug 15 meeting. anyone else received the same text?
  9. i dont think many of us boardpassers are thinking the same thing. i for one, am not sure if i will pass the retake if ever there will be any. imagine the pressure and anxiety you will be feeling. well, its 3 days to go til aug 15. by then there will be a decision already. keep on praying...
  10. is there really going to be a retake? coz i received a text message from a friend saying: "dear board passers, pls be a member of our yahoo group, venue to coordinate plans of action regarding retake of nursing board exam, send to i hope this is not true... sorry, e-mail addresses are not allowed to be posted. Posters may PM you though. went some researching at yahoogroups. didn't find such group. i supposed the text isn' true or i'm didn't researched hard enough. LOL. well, i really hope there won't be a retake...
  11. correct me if i'm wrong but i believe NY needs both cgfns and nclex for you to work there. cgfns requires that you pass the local boards before you can take the exam. if i were you, choose a state that only require nclex like cali and vermont ( i belive there are 11 states in all ) good luck!
  12. today is august 9. still got 6 days to go til the BON and different deans would have a talk about it. let's just wait and see... and pray hard. LOL. i really hope there wouldn't be a retake. it's just so stressful...
  13. went to prc today, aug 8. so far they're still no announcements yet for the oathtaking.. keep on praying!
  14. you got me wrong. PRI (philippine rehabilitation institute) was that one i'm talking about. it has a banawe based campus, not MCU. sorry.
  15. you could try fatima or lanting...
  16. can i ask what school you're enrolled at now? if it's PRI, why dont you just enroll at their quezon city campus (at banawe)...
  17. wait til aug 15. i believe there would be a meeting between BON and the deans from mdifferent schools...
  18. and with the status of our oathtaking, i dont think any hospital would hire us. LOL. anyway, once i get my license, i'm planning to apply in governement hospitals. is it true that they require you to sign a contract stating that you'll be working for them for two years before you can resign? and by the way, do ur board rating can influence your chance of being hired by a hospital coz some of the hospitals i've looked into requires a certificate of board rating as requirements for application... thanks and more power!
  19. from the way i understood ur message, i think there would be an oath taking after all. well i really hope so. did u acquire that information from someone on prc or is it posted or something? i think they'll first listen to what the deans would be saying and then come up with a solution which is agreeable to everyone concerned and hope everyone would be happy. LOL. this oathtaking issue is really drivin me insane.
  20. nei_ph replied to bajoy's topic in International Nursing
well, i'm really hoping they won't nullify it. i don't want to go through the pressure of taking the exams again. i heard the deans would talk about it by aug 15. i guess we'll have to wait for the outcome and just hope for the best...
  21. aug 1 update taken from: http://www.abs-cbnnews.com/storypage.aspx?StoryId=45987[/url] Nurses trapped in limbo The Professional Regulation Commission has played a cruel joke on the more than 17,000 nursing graduates who had passed the board examinations administered last month. read more
  22. nei_ph replied to bajoy's topic in International Nursing
don't get your hopes too high. it is already confirmed that the aug 22 oathtaking is temporarily on hold. and there's a huge possibility that they might even nullify it. well, congratrulations anyway! pray that they won't nullify the result...
  23. i believe it's already proven that there was a leakage. it's the extent of the leakage they're investigating. furthermore, i've read that the main reason why deans from up, ust and uerm want to cancel the oathtaking is that 10% of the questions from part 3 and the entire test V were omitted. they're saying that the competency of those who passed are compromised since MS and Psych Nursing are key concepts and therefore should not be omitted from the exam. well, i do pray that the oathtaking would push through. anyway, anyone here familiar enough with the nursing law? can they really nullify the exam results now that they've already released it? more power and good luck to us!
  24. ahahahaha! i find this reply very funny. ouch. i really hope it will not happen! so is it confirmed that the oathtaking is on hold? it's august 1 already...
  25. hi there. just checking out this thread for more news. i really hope the oathtaking would push through coz if it doesn't, there's a possibility that they might even nullify the result. "pasado na, naging bato pa" i dont really want to go through the pressure of having the exam again. good luck to all of us and congratulation to all those who passed! :)
