Hmmmmmmmm.. for now i want to be a E.R nurse. not yet have an idea about the other field(im just a second yr BSN) my professor in ana Physio works as a E.R nurse, he told us about this. and i find this one adventurous

Some may already read/joined this kind of thread in the International Forum. Just want to know those story from our fellow Filipino nurses why they choose this profession, and also for those "students" like me.. Some may think that i'm dumb, because we all know that the purpose of majority of us today is to havea good oppurtunity in abroad. I want to know those stories for me to have a big idea what is really i'm taking now. This is really important to a youngster like me who just sent easily to a nursing school by our parents/sponsors without further consideration. Here is mine, How???? Last last summer(may 2005) i'm in CCPC(caloocan city polytechnic college) completing the rest of my requirements(and after that just wait for the opening of the classes) then suddenly my mother called to me telling that my two aunties(my sponsors) want me to take BSN. I dont know what to say because at that time my mindset is already in ComScie(since i really love computers). In this case i have no choice but to grab this good oppurtunity, eventhough i dont have an idea about nursing. But my mother helped me realize so many things since she was a midwife. Ever since, i dont really like to be in medical field, it does not fits to my character(that is my perception before) WHY??? But now i'm sure to my self that i'm loving this course Last summer(may) my father was confined at PGH(in M&S ward). There are so many patient having different illnesses, good looking doctors(they are really "artistahin") and especially, nurses. I really admire those nurses, it's like they working night till morning without rest. At that time i realized how tough to be a nurse and it is not just about dollars!I think of this as a great challange, because i'm a type of guy that is now good in conversation/communication. i'm always silent (some says im a loner), having sedentary lifestyle, etc.. Other reason in taking BSN is that i want nursing to change me(is it possible??). I want to make difference, i want to help other who needs care, ease the pain (like in my father situation). My parent gives me a lot inspiration and motivation in persuing this dream, most of all my father who's diabetic and can't work anymore because of severity. This drives me. thats all for now -Forgive me for not being direct to the point, and to my English -Any comments, suggestion, voilent reaction is much appreciated!

hmmmmmmmmm. i think its just they dont accept tranferies... im in Angeles now..... but im really from Caloocan M.M ..... we just tranfer here last MAY.

when i inquire in AUF, the dean told me that they will not credit my subjects and totally back to zero. back to first year.waaaaaaa actually the dean told me that they dont entertain much the transferries...

ok. i think u really answered my questions.... but my new school will be having their first graduating on april 2007 only..... im a late enrollies thats why i dont know these things about my new school before...... thnx again

yah..... im a 2nd year regular student....... im just a transfery. from MCU(manila central univ.) in caloocan to JCFC(jose c. feliciano college)luckily that my subjects were credited......

yah. u r right... i knew that it was really in the student if he can make it. but i'm just want to know what should a school have for them to say that they really good in nursing programs. Like RN CIs, etc. thnx a lot for ur reply

oh yeah... AUF is the pioneer in nursing here in pampanga and any other medical courses.. they also have their own hospital. and other says that AUF has a 70% board passer i've inquired there last summer, but when the dean interviewed me, she said that all transfery will be back in 1st yr, they don't credit your subjects, totally back to zero.

im here in pampanga now...... im talking with mcu(manila central univ.) they dont have any campus in banawe...... or anywhere. im in JCFC now here in Dau, pampnga

-sorry for my poor English just want to ask what is the things required/needed(like facilities, laboraories, etc.) to say that your school is good in nursing programs? i'm just a transfery to my new school.... since i came from the university to college school...... i've seen the big differece between them.... i'm courious because i doubt that my new school can have the good number of board passer. since that their first graduating is just by the next summer(april 2006) ahhhhhhhh..... for some reason i just got there.. my school is in pampanga. different when im in caloocan(mcu) im just a second year now. :uhoh3:
