I already emailed the College of Nursing in BC. They told me that they treat each case individually. They did not say I need BSN. Hopefully, I am getting my BSN this December, but I want to start the assessment now, because it takes long time.

Hello everyone, I am a F1 student studying in NY. I was trying to get CPT to work as nurse extern in a nearby hospital. I have finished required classes for nurse extern program. The foreign student advisor in school gave me a form and told me to get permission from the nursing department. That form states it should be a requirement to graduate. Unfortunately, the department told me they can't give permission since this is a real employment, but not required class to graduate. Does any one know how students get CPT for nursing major?
