HRSA Nurse Corps Loan Repayment 2022
I've applied a few times so here is the typical chain of events in previous years: January/February - application cycle opens March/April - cycle closes May/June - credit checks start (seems to only show up on Experian) August/September - COI/awards October - rejection letter This year, though, the application cycle opened much earlier (December '21 I think!) and closed in February I believe. I had a credit check 3/17. So if they follow their usual timeline, we should start hearing by June? I'm just speculating here so who knows really. As for the tax break, I think we're a long way away from getting it. I should add, this info is all for the NC Loan Repayment, NOT the Scholarship (there's likely another thread for that!)

The email started as follows: "This is a notification to inform you that an Employment Verification has been initiated on your behalf for (my institution). The following site points of contact(s) (POC) will receive a message to log into the BHW Program Portal for Site Administrators to verify your employment: " I emailed them and they responded that I should contact the POC's to complete the EV. Can someone send the link to where it says that we can defer our federal loans without impact on our application? Thanks

2018 Nurse Corps Loan Repayment Program
Hi everyone! I am an NP in NYC. I applied this year with DTI of about 160%. My HPSA score at the time I applied was 12 or 13 but I just checked again and it increased to 18 in April! I've had a credit check by CREDCO like some others about a month ago. I called them up see if they would change the tier I am in for eligibility based on the new HPSA score and they were not able to answer the question. Does anyone have any thoughts? It looks like some people have heard and I didn't have high hopes since I was already in Tier 3, but now I should be Tier 1 so I'm hoping that they look at the current score! Thanks for any advice!
