I really cannot answer your question, but just wanna share my experience regarding my initial registration application with NMBWA. I applied with the NMBWA with 6 mos hospital volunteer and 1 year clinic nurse experience. The Board confirmed receipt of my application July 16th thru email. I received my assessment letter dated July 23rd, informing me to take the Registration Bridging Course, last Aug. 1!!! That was fast!!! They sent an assessment letter a week after they received my application!!! Good luck on your application!!!:wink2:

yeah, would appreciate info bout hospitals in WA. any info about Hollywood Private Hospital in particular? what hospitals sponsor overseas nurse after gaining registration from the NMBWA? looking forward for a reply soon...:typing

hi aps! you can start by researching what state in australia you want to work in. if you have chosen a state, work on the requirements that the nursing board require for registration. as with the experience on the bridging course, i cannot say anything since i'm still waiting for the NMBWA's decision regarding my application. good luck to us!
