  1. I trained in a hospital registered no problem
  2. The unit i work in we have 1:1 on very rare occasions 1:2 non intubated, stable HDU pts.2:1 for ECMO pts. You get training in house and uni courses. The drs are within reach and can talk to them, ask questions about plan of cre or decisions that you are not clear about without any problems.
  3. The unis survive by monies from the international students as well as the local ones. Most international students work as well as studying that's not easy.Just because they are from a third world country it doesn't mean all of them are living in extreme poverty.Family does help out but they also play their part by working the hours that they are allowed to do and contributing to the country's tax system. Most people that "claim" to be from 3rd world countries are actually from 3rd world countries. If they succesfully complete their studies and get pr then it's good for the country which has a shortage of nurses. Whilst it's worth trying to get funding for nursing courses from the government international students have to be aware that they have to pay fees just like the many local students that did not manage to get scholarships. That is neither the local students nor international students fault
  4. I am sorry about that i applied too but havent heard from them.
  5. A transcript that is acceptable to both the nurses boards is one that is filled in at the institution you did your training and sent directly to the board. Most of the transcripts show how many hours of different specialties you did in the practicals what theory you did and the grades you got.You cant just write it up and send it.Ihope this helps
  6. where is the ICU and when does it start
  7. Forgot to say i would be happy to help if you need information from me but i am already planning my way out because of the fact that the government does not want foreigners anymore there are many jobs though just wondering why locals say they cant get them
  8. hi I trained overseas but have only been here for 3 years so i guess you dont need my input
  9. Hi Just wondering if you could help with information on your experiences working in public health and private in WA Thanks
  10. I am looking into migrating to Western Australia and need information on working in a public hospital or private one differences or similarities etc
