  1. congratulations. I am so excited for you. Study hard, stay caught up and you will be fine. If you have any questions that I may be able to help you with you can email me through my profile page or send me a personal message (PM).
  2. They came to recruit us in nursing school and I also have a friend that works there. They have no sign on bonuses at this time and the pay is less than 21.00. She hates it there and is looking to transfer.
  3. I signed a contract for loan repayment at UNC. It is a great place to work. I graduated last Dec., took boards in Feb, and started 4 days after taking boards. It is a teaching hospital so they are pretty of opportunies to keep learning.
  4. I graduated from there in December of 2007. It is a good program and the instructors do very well to prepare you for the real world of nursing. The NCLEX passing rate is 99 %. Only one person in my group didn't pass the first time. I did the evening weekend program. Good luck.
  5. Sorry I meant to say in NC. Some places here in NC do not make very well, such as in home health but the hospitals pay very well.
  6. I am a Med Tech in NC and make 14.00/hr in an asst. living facility. I work as a CNA in a hospital and make more than that.
  7. I also attended GTCC in Jamestown and the nursing program is very tough. Our last semester we lost about half the class. Good luck to everyone in their nursing careers
