Study Aides that will help me study and remember information
Hello everyone. Does anyone know of any books that has a CD-Rom to take practice tests, multiple choice and games of material covered in the book. I am looking for subjects for pre-nursing classes such as Biology/Physiology, General Micorobiology, Intro to Chemistry and General Psychology and Nursing Assistant. I have an excellent Medical Terminology Book that came with a CD Rom workbook with practice tests and games. I learn and remember better with a CD workbook. If anyone knows of any books, software, websites or material that will help me remember material as I go further along in nursing would be helpful. I would like to study material and use CD workbook before I take class. Thank you.

Hello everyone, I live in Charlotte, North Carolina. I passed the certification test for Medication Aide, January, 2006. Most of the nursing homes, I have talked to said, I need to be a CNA. I will complete the CNA course next month. Does anybody know the starting payrate for CNA/Medication Aide. Any information would be helpful trying to get a high payrate to cover my mortgage while in school. Thank you.:monkeydance:

Are there any CNA jobs with high pay rates?
hello, i am a pre-nursing student. i will be getting my cna certificate in the fall. i wanted to know if there are any high paying cna jobs that i can look into while going to school. i want to quit my security job and get started in healthcare as a cna. i was wondering if i need to look at an agency, home healthcare or do they have traveling cna's. i want to be able to cover my bills and mortgage while in school and get the experience. i would appreciate it if someone could give me some insight on were to look and search in charlotte or gastonia. a co-worker of mine told me that he knew a cna who made $39k.:typing reason for edit: cna's have a certificate, not license. cna's must work under an lpn's or rn's license.
