Jupiter Crash

I know a wonderful nurse that is so burnt out. She has been a nurse for 20 something years. Always she has been loving and caring to her patients even the mean ones. She is so burnt out and I would love to know something that would put her in better spirits.

I had the t.v. on for the noise factor. My radar just happen too tune in to that particular crime. For the record I handle stress and aggravation just fine. Though I do agree that I do need to tune into more positive programs on occasion that do not interfere with my mental psyche (go to move to the pysch ward).

I did not pay much attention to the program so I am not even sure that I got the time period right, only the crime. I listen in on during study time. It also didnt help that it was 2:00 a.m.

I like to wear crocs, I have also have a pair from All Hearts which personally I do not find them to be as roomy as crocs. Crocs are VERY comfy and say they are worth it!!!!

Where did you read/hear about the story? I'm curious. On the discovery channel. This happen back in the 1980s in Vienna. I was rather tickled (not by killing) because I thought of all the times so many nurses have wanted to kill (not literally) thier patients because of the excessive call light pushing for thing that they could easily do themselves. I do believe that the nurses were thought to have killed over 300 patients. The thing I find truly horrid is the way they killed them, by drowning. SORRY I did get the time period wrong! I confused it with another nursing insident that happen in 1700s.

i was recently watching a show about deadly woman, and i came across a story about a group of nurses that killed their patients. they drowned them, which took about 45min. they did not do it because they wanted to save them and be the hero or anything. they did it because the patients pushed the call light button constantly. what does that tell you?!

I am trying to figure out if this would be right for me. I am intrigued by psychiatric nursing, though unsure if it would be something I would like to get into. HELP!!!!!!! Anybody got any advice or advice about qualities one may need to posses. Also if anyone can give me a more detailed description as to what exactly goes on in this career. All the Thanks in World.

I scored high on 5 catagories!! All of the catagories, I only really fit in in some aspects and tendancies while other part I do not fall into. ( Am I making any since here:confused:.... at all)

i agree very much so. i think it is horrible when they smoke around young children. more so because i was one of those young children. i am glad to say it discouraged me from smoking. i never want to do that to myself or anyone around me.

I hate that people in general smoke. My mother smokes, she even ocassionally(sp?) smoked while she was pregnant. I however, understand why she does it and do not blame her at all. Though it is a horrible habit...

hey everyone i have would like to know the average salary of a forensic nurse? also, if anyone can tell me how much they actually deal with crime scenes, the body, ect. almost every thing i have read it usually leads up to rape victims being the bulk of cases. thank you everyone :)
