  7. I live in NJ and went to school in PA. I think you have to go to school in state to get help from NJ. My financial aid lady at school helped me get a living expenses loan. My school offered great scholarships and everyone who attended got some sort of scholarship and the rest you could pay back in time to the hospital when u graduated. I went to Abington Memorial Hospitals Dixon School of Nursing,
  8. I Never Went Because I Accepted The Virtua Position.
  9. is this going on at marlton too?

  11. Thanks! SO what are new grad allowed to do before they take the NCLEX?
  12. In New Jersey, do you have to apply for a temporary license before you take the NCLEX like in PA? Thanks
  13. I was just offered a job at Virtua Marlton. I would love to get some feedback or opinions on the Virtua hospitals. Your feedback is greatly appreciated!
  14. I think the starting pay at Abington is $23.75/hr
  15. No problem, I'll answer any questions you have. Be very proud you got in because its a hard program to be accepted to!:balloons: I think we started clinicals like 2 weeks after starting. The first year clinical is 2 times a week and the last year it is 3 times a year. All that clinical time does boost your confidence for when you graduate.
  16. I graduate from Abington in May and can say the best thing about it is the amount of clinical time you receive! And its a beautiful and growing hospital. Let me know if you have any specific questions
  17. I did an externship last summer at Lourdes Burlington and it was great experience!! It was a full time paid job and and good externship experience. i did not get to pass meds but that was fine. I got to do pretty much everything else with the nurse. It was 8 weeks and you rotated to a different department each week to get exposure in each of them. As long as you got a great nurse that day, you could do alot! It was 12hrs Tues, Wed, Thur, and a information session on Mondays. I would recommend it:)
  18. I Am Soo Excited! I Have An Interview With Cooper Univ. In 2 Weeks And Am Very Excited! Can Anyone Tell Me What Their Starting New Rn Rate Is? I'm Trying To Decide Between Virtua Marlton, Lourdes Willingboro, And Cooper? Thanks For Any Advise You Can Give!
