  2. Good morning ALL :) Hi i just started lpn school June 5th and i'm very excited. I have learned so much in these last 4 weeks and still cant believe im actually an lpn student. I have taken 5 test already out of 24 for the first semester and have done well. im actually on vacation this week and will be returning to school on Monday. My first sememster consist of A&P, foundations, medical terminology, law & ethics and clinicals. Wow thats alot RIGHT, we will be finish with the 1st sememster right b4 labor day,, which im really looking forward too and then the 2nd week of Sept we take our finals and that will determine who moves on to the second semester. Over all its alot of information and the class is definetly do-able but you have to stay focus and set a schedule and stick to it.. Im lucky i not working right now,so i dedicate all my time to studying, but i do take breaks in between. I just want to wish everyone much success and good luck.. Im sure we ALL will be GREAT nurses..
  3. Good morning Peachy2 :) School is GREAT, I feel as thought Im learning alot and Im very excited. Its only been a month and we are on vacation for a week starting Sunday. I've pass all 4 of my test thus far and hope to continue the HARD, but good work. Thanks alot for the email & I will try to keep you posted.   9. hi all im thinking about quitting my full time job and applying for unemployment. what are my chances of getting my benefits,lol and why should i say i quit work.. has anyone been in this position and where youre benefits approved.. please advise
  10. hello all :) im going to be starting class next Thurday, and i have no idea what to expect, PLEASE advise. how soon is the first test, when are clinicals, what should i purchase 4 class, dress code etc. how many hours sure i study,, should i keep a part time job,, im very nervous and excited.. thanks

  12. thanks :) my school is farely new with this lpn, and they dont offer any financial asst other than loans,, which i applied thru Sallie Mae and was denied,, i need a cosigner. im going to do whatever i have to, my school is giving me 9months to pay the bal of $5000, but with a part time job , i'll be lucky to make $555 per month to pay my school, and to top it off they want a payment every 1st of the month. if anyone has a loan website that i can apply for someone with less than perfect credit please email me @ [email protected] thanks :)

Good morning ALL :) Epona im in the same boat,, im due to start school June 1. i need some financial asst too, but i have less than perfect credit and cant find any place that will loan me $$$.. please advise me if anyone else is facing this same problem. my school cost $13,000.00 and i gave them $8,000.00 im sure not if im going to be able to pay the bal, working part time when i have other minor expenses.. please email @ bmarshman@optonline if anyone can HELP
  14. Good morning sobonks,, dont give up.. i actually failed my NET test twice and decided to try another school to apply at, which i did and pass the test on the first shot. LPN's are in high demand in Northern and Southern New Jersey and the starting paid is GREAT too. i thought about going to a local community college but that was longer and harder, so i decide to keep re-taking the test until i passed. i guess it depends on where you live if the demand is high or not. N E ways good luck and follow your heart..
  15. Good morning :) hey sassychris the demand in Northern & Southern New Jersey is crazy. they will always need lpn's.. im not sure where you live, but maybe u should think about relocating.

Hello everyone :) in response to what ever has said, i must agree. im doing LPN as well, then i plan on working double shifts on fri,sat & sun so i can go RIGHT back to get my RN. i have no $$$ or husband, so im fronting all my own expenses. i have GREAT boyfriend, daughter and dog.. i had a full time job which i resigned from to start school full time in JUNE 2006. its very scary but determine too do whatever i have too.. good luck to ALL and if anyone wants to chat please email at [email protected]
