  1. Hi - its not very complicated, I have known some people that have gotten their certificates for nj after moving from PA - i think you need to submit proof of certificate, work experience, new adress etc...he should have the info from the state you are in - he can contact them for more info.
  2. Thanks for all you replies. Took the test today and it was actually HARD a lot harder than I expected. It didnt seem to be like the NET test that was described. So if it is meant to be, it will be. I am leaning toward the LPN route, if I do pass this test this is the way I will go. I am applying to a local community college here. They are affiliated with allied health. The hospitals here arent hiring LPNs anymore either, except in OB, which would be fine with me! I used to teach childbirth classes and do labor support so that will be right up my alley. I do like the hospital I am currently working for, however having an LPN gives me a wider range of options than just having my cna. That is all way down the road however...I have to pass this test first! Thanks again for all the replies!
  3. I am torn between taking the plunge and doing the full time LPN course in able to make more money and get more experience. I am currently working full time as a cna and mom to 4 boys. My reason for the LPN is because it is shorter term and I can make more money while taking pre reqs for RN if I choose. I have had many people tell me I should go right to the RN program but that will take me forever and I cant afford to work part time for that long. . Any input, opinions or suggestions would be great. Thanks! Elizabeth:penguin:
  4. :penguin: Hi, Im taking the placement exam for the LPN class tomrrow and was wondering what to expect. Anything special I shoul concentrate my studies on. What type of math? Any suggestions are welcome. Thanks! Elizabeth
