This thread is hilarious! I have obviously been in the wrong dept. (MICU), although, we do get the occasional OD'ers...

I used to work in a MICU as a PCA (NA) & we had a man that had been there for a month or so, & he was actively dying. He had his good days , but despite what he was going through , he always kept a great sense of humor! We were turning him and cleaning him up one day and in mytop scrub pocket was a snickers candy bar. (The nurse that I was assisting is always a riot to work with) I'm holding the man over and the nurse was cleaning him up, I had told the man "Let go of my snickers, please" The nurse says to me : Is that ebonics for tits, or something...?", when the nurse looks up & sees the man with a tight grip on my snickers bar---we all (pt., too) start busting out laughing. I finally got my snickers back!

Hello! I will be moving to Dover in June, fresh after completing an LPN prog. Where would be a great place(s) to start my job search? I am unfamiliar with the area, I'm moving there to be closer to family with my 3 children , so I can move on to finish school in order to obtain my RN. Thanks for your help in advance!!

I am moving to Dover in June, I am graduating an LPN prog in OH May 5th!!! I was wondering if anyone knows about pay scale for LPN's & where would be a great place to start my job search. Also, how long of a drive is Beebe Hosp. from Dover?

I would like to know if LPN 's can get into this area of nursing coming out as a new grad. LPN. I am specifically looking for work in the Dover, DE area. Please offer any suggestions/advice & resourceful links.
