  1. people dont fly up in the air when shocked, doctors are not the center of it all as everyone comes to you about the pt
  2. hypercapnea is like someone with COPD that retains air (barrel chest) which is like normal breathing, hypervenelation is very rapid breathing and kussmals is rapid but very deep to breath off co2 to help rid of acid
  3. If their sats are low i consider it a nursing judgment to go ahead and start out at 1-2l and go from there depending on their needs. I would call the md after establishing a good o2 sat first

  5. Golytely seems to do the best job for ensuring a clean bowel in my opinion
  6. At my school the professors are strict but nice and arnt out to get you. Yes it is like a boot camp and they push you harder and harder. For me it was hard this semester (my 1st) because you dont know how to study and dont know how to take nursing exams. Test are completely different. It is possible and it is alot of fun! Good luck!!

  11. I have my a&p final tomorrow @ 10 and then i will be done w/a&p!!!
  12. The digestive sys by far. all the enzymes and hormones were very confusing.

  14. wow i thought i was the only one thats not motivated. I havnt been studying that much for the a&p final or really anything else. I gotta buckle down today though so i can finish well.

  18. Had my lab final today and it wasnt so bad. I think i did pretty good.
  19. Looks like that is about it exept for bicarbonate and hydrogen and some drugs.
  20. Even though i got in i would feel terrible if i stopped trying, im gunna keep on goin!
  21. It is do-able however it will be alot of work. As long as you work hard at it you will do alright.

  24. Just had my test today. It actually went ok. Was alot of information to memorize.
  25. It depends on the size and the people you study with. I study with 2 others who also know their stuff and we get alot done.
