  1. Mine shows open still. I hope this is not a scam like Kaiser.
  2. Mine still shows as applied. I'm an external applicant. I hope this is not a scam like Kaiser.
  3. As long as you stay away from the West and East Coasts you should be fine, especially the middle of America.
  4. Look out-of state (but not in Washington or Oregon). They will interview new grads within a week of your application submission and make an offer a week after the interview. The pay won't be as much but you can buy a nice home for half the price and your other bills will be lower. Plus there will probably be less traffic, better air, etc. California new grad programs are nothing but corporate nepotism, a sham, a scam.
  5. This whole process was a joke, a scam and a mockery, and I think it had a lot to do with the fact that there is a union involved. My guess is that the union required Kaiser to allot a certain number of the 100 seats for the July cohort to internal and already union-paying Kaiser employees (surgical techs, MA's, LVN's etc.) who are recent RN grads. Kaiser utterly played with external applicants' hopes and dreams and probably did not even look at any external applications except for maybe 25 otherwise well-connected folks. BTW, all you internal applicants who got in and will be making $85/hr........Hopefully you live with your boomer mom and dad in the Bay area, because you will not be able to afford any home/condo/townhome in the Bay area as your after federal and state income tax, after union dues, after health premiums pay will be more like $45 an hour if that. Good luck! I'm leaving this crappy state.
