  1. Yea it's a bit frustrating how little information they have on their website/in general about their new grad positions..there isn't even really a start date on the job posting, which makes it harder to figure out if I would qualify. I also could only select yes or no to the "have you graduated?" question in the education section, there was no option to select a future date for graduating like other hospitals have. Thanks anyway!
  2. I do have my license, but I'm wondering if I need to have my degree too. It's not clear on the job listing if you need to already have your nursing degree too. I am in an entry level MSN program that allows us to take our NCLEX before our final semester!
  3. does anyone know if you need to have already graduated to qualify for the Clinical Nurse I new grad positions? Or can you apply before graduating?
  4. The webinar said June 29 - July 20, but career snapshot said July 6 - July 17, so who knows! hopefully soon
  5. Good luck! Thanks for the insight. It seems like every single hospital is incredibly competitive. I guess it doesn't hurt to try!
  6. Good luck everyone! I'm wondering if anyone knows generally what gets people the on-demand video link? It seems from past forums that it's based on questionnaire responses, although it's not super clear what specific answers. Does anyone external ever get hired? Doesn't really seem like it from what I've been reading :'c
  7. Congrats! Wondering if you emailed her at her Gmail or her UC Davis email? Her Gmail is listed on linked in but that seems like not the right email to use?
  8. Hey! Did you email her at her UC Davis email or her personal gmail listed on her LinkedIn? Congrats on being routed! I was routed too!
  9. Congrats to everyone getting referred! Mine all still say open. I'm wondering if there was an advantage to applying earlier, even though they said in their webinars that it didn't matter when you applied as long as you applied by the deadline. I applied earlier to some, and later to others.
  10. thank you! I read the rest of the thread after I posted...LOL thanks so much
  11. anyone having trouble finding the job posting? external was supposed to open today. Im typing in #RNRSD and I get "0 job results" message. I also can't figure out how to make a profile to apply? Edit: nevermind! Just read the thread :) haha thank you all for updating us!
  12. Hi! Just wanted to start this thread for UCSD's upcoming Fall cohort. Applications are open now, and I couldn't find a thread so I thought I'd start one. Good luck to everyone applying! The separate cover letter for each unit is driving me nuts :)
  13. She also said she believes San Diego is participating in the August cohort, but they did not give a list. She said you will see participating hospitals in the snapshot once they ask you to rank your preferences.
  14. Hiiii, to clarify your question you should plan to be in person 4 days a week. Two days of lecture, one day for skills lab, and one day of clinical.
