Yup. THE BON sends everyone to RAMP even when addiction isn't the issue. Then while u are in the "eval phase" they find a way to extend your contract to 5 years. While you are in the eval phase they make u do 4 tests a month including a hair test for $600. You will also have to speak to a therapist that they choose. Thats an additional $800. There are nurses in RAMP who have NO HISTORY OF ADDICTION.

RAMP NJ IS EXTREMELY UNETHICAL. Same thing happened to me n I was denied unemployment because my case manager told my employer that I was positive for drugs. They're cut off for everything is 0 so any and everything can spike a positive n unfortunately the witch who runs the program gets a thrill over ruining ppls lives as well as the case managers. Im sorry this happened to u but unfortunately it has happened to many ppl in RAMP. Participants have even committed suicide in this monitoring program. It's horrible

Theyre more than likely making u do RAMP because of the second charge. During the eval stage they're going to ask u to disclose everything u take prescription or not. While your in the eval stage they will allow u to take your prescription pain med. They're gonna make u do about 4 drug test a month ( 3 urine and 1 blood). They're also going to make u do a hair test that goes back 3-6 months. If uve taken something once or twice it likely won't show up on it hair test but your prescription pain meds will so it's best not to lie about it. U will also have to do an evaluation with a therapist. They'll tell u that the therapist is completely independent from them but it's ***. They send u to the therapist that they want u to go to and then even if the therapist doesn't recommend any extended monitoring RAMP has the final say In your situation I think they may end up keeping you for at least 2 years. The only issue is that if u agree to the monitoring they usually won't allow u to take anything addictive so I'm now sure how that will work for u since u have a prescription. NJ RAMP is the absolute worst but I wish u all the best

Hi, Im in NJ RAMP and I've been compliant. I have a few years left to go however my NYS license is almost at its renewal date. I know Im not permitted to work in NYS while in RAMP however I don't want my NYS license to expire simply because its was hassle to get in the first place. My question is am I allowed to just disclose to NYS that Im in RAMP and keep my license? Or will I not be allowed to keep my NYS license? If anyone has any experience with this it would be greatly appreciated.

Hey, if you're in the eval stage, the hair rest is $600, and it's a one-time thing. They give u the option of hair or nail, and it's usually an 18 panel, but they can add stuff on like Propophol. For most substances, it does go back 6 months but can go as far back as a year. From my understanding if uve only taken something a few times over the 6month period it usually wouldnt show in your hair. They're suppose to take like 2 inches from the root and about the thickness of a pencil but they tend to take more if your hair is thin and they don't just take the 2 inches close to the root. They cut the whole thing and send it. Some ppl have had not enough hair taken and have had to go back. They usually ask where u want taken from but it's usually the back of your head. Also the hair is usually sent to USDTL for testing but RAMP usually sends u to like Cocentra to have the sample taken.
