  1. Mine were emotional based. Pretty laid back for what I was expecting.
  2. Was there ever a rule in place that said NICU nurses had to float there? At my current hospital NICU nurses will float there but they only take care of the babies which isn't too bad. If you are Union I would talk to your rep!
  3. In my PICU that patient would be a 2:1 unless they were on pressors or about to go on CRRT or ECMO. I hate how they staff here though. A new DKA patient can be so time consuming!
  4. One thing I've learned from being nurse is sign on bonuses are not always good. It usually means the hospital is hurting for staff. If pediatrics is your dream I'd take the lower pay and get 1-2 years experience there then travel or go elsewhere for a job which will pay you more.
  5. I would love to see common continuous drip compatibility! It would make everything so much faster if I didn't have to look stuff up everytime.
  6. I have felt the same way when doing research. I usually need to step away from it for a bit to help me remember why I'm wanting to research this. Be kind to yourself you are doing a great job!
  7. Congrats! I was told emails will be going out in the next 1-2 weeks.
  8. I received a call and was accepted! Stay near your phones!
  9. Amazing thank you! I interviewed last week and just getting antsy
  10. Has anyone been accepted into the program yet? The suspense is killing me!
