Hi! I finished my registration for Fall '24, and although the "NURS 700" still has the wrong name, I had no problem registering for the class. ?

Hi again, they just replied to me and said: "NURS 700 has been reopened allowing you to register for the course while its title is being corrected. Nursing faculty are working with the registrar to change the title back to the original one."

Nothing yet, I sent the email and they reply saying that I am not the only one with this problem and they forwarded to someone else who might be able to help me. I just F/U again with this person, considering the admission enrollment for fall opens tomorrow... Ill keep you posted :)!

Quick question. I am checking the subjects for fall as the enrollment date is next week, and I want to tell my job as soon as possible my schedule so we can work on that. I see the subject "NURS 700 Theoretical Foundations of Nursing Science" is not in the "schedule builder" anymore. Now it appears as "NURS 700 - Principles of Adult teaching and learning", and it seems there are no classes for fall...? Anyone had the same issue?

I asked this question to the student that is doing her placement where I work. She said that you are basically on your own and to start finding preceptors earlier as NYC is pretty competitive. She told me she is doing her full placement where I work, and that Hunter prefers only ONE placement, ONE site. This is what she said, but I would take it with a grain of salt as things might have change/this has been her experience-understanding.

Hi! I am just registered in this one due to work incompatibility. I work 9am to 5pm so leaving twice a week at 1pm did not seem viable. Having said that, I did feel overwhelmed when I got the syllabus too, but I checked the articles recommended for every week and they are not very long. Also, the big assignment (health paper & presentation) is in groups if I am not mistaken, so the working load will be shared :)! What I would recommend is to read the book about the Hmong, I read it a few months ago when I saw they would make us read it. It is pretty easy to read, but at the end of the day it is a 370 page book, and it takes a while to finish it. A lot of public libraries have it. A student from Hunter who is doing her internship/placement here told me to take as many Summer classes as possible, as they are "easier" she said. I do plan on taking 6 credits next Summer.

It showed up automatically. I did not do anything ? maybe it's because I am registered for Summer so "I am in the system"? Not sure

Thank you for your reply ? . I saw the info I just was not sure what hybrid synchronous meant. For the registration, I believe we should follow the schedule we have in our "CunyFirst". I have an "appointment" scheduled for May 21st (I think) to register for fall classes.

Hi! I am registered too for "Health Promo and Disease". I wished I could have done both, but due to work I can only do one this Summer. A student that is doing her placement where I work recommended me to try to take Summer classes as they are "easier" she says. Do you know by any chance if the classes are in person or online? In the enrollment information says "hybrid" but I am unsure what that means. Anyway, very excited to start in just a few weeks!!

I did! For the Health Promo/Disease. Same one? Older students recommended me to take Summer classes, they are more "intense scheduling wise" but shorter and they help with reducing the amount of time before finishing. So I will try to do 6crts instead of 3 next Summer if possible.

I think the only two options are mail or check. I went there in person (I called prior to go), as I work relatively close by.
