  1. OMG I hope it WASN'T a vibe check. I'm not chatty but I did read tf out of that case study and medications interactions and SBAR. LOL
  2. I feel like it was pretty straight forward. It was alot of questions that felt kind of repetitive. I felt like I may have been missing something bc I just kept mentioning basic interventions. I felt confident in my SBAR but IDK
  3. Just left mission interview. I feel it went well, other than the fact that I asked some dumb questions at the end LOL The managers seemed really nice. She said today was last day of interviews and we should hear back by next week latest.
  4. Hi friends, good luck to those who are interviewing and will interview. For future reference, if anyone can share the SBAR questions since I would love to try to apply again next cycle - thatd be amazing!!
  5. Has anyone interviewed for Mission Viejo yet?
  6. Got an interview invite for Mission Viejo as well. The original job posting expired so I in need of knowing what units/pay etc.
  7. Yes, one of them was our classmate and we are so incredibly proud of him. He deserved it <3
  8. Well if it makes anyone feel better, I did my clinicals and externship there and still haven't gotten an interview. Based on what my peers have said, they seem to have only interviewed SICU and ED positions so far. It's on a department basis. Stay positive all! I know it can be frustrating but I have to give credit where credit is due: most hospitals mainly internal candidates only and UCSD really seems to give everyone a fair shot.
  9. I am not internal. I worked really hard (waitlisted, re-took classes, got hands on experience) and landed a very competitive externship at UCSD which is what I think may have helped. Also bi-lingual, and ACLS, BLS, NIH, PALS and BIS certified. Lots of hardwork to get here.
  10. My application got forwarded to hiring dept. for three of the PCU departments at Hillcrest. Anyone else?
  11. Hi guys! I am a nursing student at city College and a part of the 2024 cohort. We will be mentoring you guys as you guys come on board in the Fall. Wishing you guys the best of luck as many of us were in these forums at one point, awaiting the dreaded news via email. ? Best of luck!!! ?
  12. Lmk when the facebook group is up. Look forward to meeting you all!! ❤️
  13. Hi friends. It's been a long time coming. I got into City with 90 points ??
  14. Nooooo ? not yet. I have an inkling we'll definitely hear before 1pm. They normally send them out around noon ?
  15. @MSJC08I applied in Early Sept for Fall 2024, at least that's what the website said. Congrats btw! @toriannanelms so I noticed that this year around, City's point system is really in favor of people with education + experience vs high scores and GPA. Last cycle I applied, they gave you more points depending on what percentage you scored on the TEAS whereas now it's as long as you passed a certain percentage.
  16. No they don't. Apparently they haven't had a wait list in a really long time. I was only inquiring because I kept hearing coworkers talking about how they were on a City college waitlist for a couple years, which didn't make sense LOL
  17. Nope, not on my end. They are responding to my email inquiring about if a waitlist is even a thing at the college but no update or letter. ?
  18. I agree because I just got the same email today around 2pm. Best of luck to everyone!
  19. Anyone hear back yet? Gettin' real anxious here LOL
  20. Hi friends. I'm applying with 90 points after getting rejected by Grossmont ? I was notified by Grossmont via email rather quickly. Does anyone know if SDCC will update us via email or physical letter?
