What did you guys emphasize during the interview when they asked what unit and why? LOL

Does anybody know the exact start date for the cohort in August for mission hospital? I just got approved to schedule my NCLEX, and debating whether I should even take this start date into consideration at this point just in case.

I am waiting to hear back from Mission And I received an email this morning saying that applications are still being reviewed.

OMG I hope it WASN'T a vibe check. I'm not chatty but I did read tf out of that case study and medications interactions and SBAR. LOL

I feel like it was pretty straight forward. It was alot of questions that felt kind of repetitive. I felt like I may have been missing something bc I just kept mentioning basic interventions. I felt confident in my SBAR but IDK

Just left mission interview. I feel it went well, other than the fact that I asked some dumb questions at the end LOL The managers seemed really nice. She said today was last day of interviews and we should hear back by next week latest.

Well if it makes anyone feel better, I did my clinicals and externship there and still haven't gotten an interview. Based on what my peers have said, they seem to have only interviewed SICU and ED positions so far. It's on a department basis. Stay positive all! I know it can be frustrating but I have to give credit where credit is due: most hospitals mainly internal candidates only and UCSD really seems to give everyone a fair shot.
