  1. this was my question to ms vidaurri yesterday when i emailed her nov 30, 2006: we would like to inquire and clarify the news that new mexico now requires ces in order to be eligible to sit in for nclex-rn? is it a new requirement or your office still do your own evaluation for your applicants. i hope you can enlighten us with this. her reply same day: it is not a requirement it is an option. sabrina vidaurriclerk specialist, international exam - nclex-rn & pn
  2. CES is not a requirement it is optional. I have asked the BON about this.
  3. i can send you 4 if you want just send me your address by pm
  4. email me your address aspen and i will send you a nm fringerprint card e-mail addresses are not permitted for your safety
  5. URC is the best.. not expensive yet you get the best review there is. Your choice but i HIGHLY RECOMMEND mam anaskis' review center.
  6. so lets say if i am still to take the nclex on may and i passed.. together with the ielts.. is still still safe to file by then or will i be affected by all of this fear of exhausting the 50K visas? thanks for the info..

  14. hello bettyboop, U mean u didnt have to go to the US embassy to have it notarized.. local public notary is just enough for documents such as the authorization of release of info to do the notarization?? Another question.. why did u have to do the notarization twice?? one for NM BON and Arizona??? hope its not too personal to ask..How long did it take you to get the eligibility and the ATT from NM BON from the time you submit your transcript?? thanks!!!
  15. ok i will, How about the finger print card? i should be going to the the goverment agency authorized to do such finger printing in my country.. would they honor that in the states? and Do i still have to have it notarized also by the US embassy?? thanks again and again
  16. thanks for your repy lawrence01, What i was thinking is to get a notary public authorized by the US Embassy Manila to do the notarization and just go to the Embassy to have it authenticated, that indeed the notary public who did the notarization was authorized,is recgnized by them.. Do you think this would work or would i still have problems??? Thanks so much
  17. hello to all, I would just like to ask.. im in the philippines and im preparing all the necessary papers, application forms, fingerprint cards and all to be send to New Mexico BON, Im applying with them. I just have a question,, one form that i need to fill up is the authorization for release of information regarding the criminal background check which is one requirement of NM BON. It is said here that it needs to be notarized. I was just wondering if any lawyer or notary public in my country (Philipines) can notarize that document or do i need to find a notary public here authorized by the US Embassy, Manila to do notarization of documents to be used in the states?? Then have the US Embassy authenticate the notarized paper?? I dont want to encounter problems later on because a document needed was not honored in the US because im not from there. Thanks in advance.. Hope i can be enlightened with this
  18. thanks dhel28 and suzzane for your reply.... so i guess i dont need to worry about how they can check my background since i have never been in the US..Its a good thing to know that it wont be a problem... I hope everything turns well until i can finally get an eligibility and with God's will pass the nclex.. Anything i still need to know about nclex application.. im doing it on my own with out any help from any agency .. hopefully im doing the right process here.. its theres anything more please let me know thanks so much God Bless!!!!
  19. thanks Qatrn for your reply.. well actually i just sent them my transcript(they do their own evaluation) since im a foreign graduate nurse .. i will have to get back to them after 2 weeks or so to find out if they find me eligible. Then its the only time i can send my application. With regards to the background criminal check... I was wondering if i would have any problem with that because I have never been to the states. I ask my sister who is in the states to ask for the finger print card and they have sent her one.. my sister sent it to me here in the philippines. Its running in my mind on how they can check my records if i have never been to the states.??? Does that question make sense? Thanks for whatever enlightenment you can give me.. God Bless!!!
  20. thanks for the fast reply suzzane... new mexico is doing thier own evaluation just like CA. I just send my transcript with them. I need to get back with them after 2 weeks to see if they find me eligible then i can send my application with them. They have this background, criminal check and fingerprinting.. they say it takes 12 weeks. do you have any idea how long approval to test takes?particularly in new mexico? Im planning to do my ielts soon. Just scheduling one exam at a time. Thanks so much for your fast response.
  21. hello im new with his forum and i find this site very informative. Im a new graduate, licensed in the Philippines. I am alittle bit confused of what exam should i take... CG or do the nclex right away. please give me some advice.. One more thing... if i do decide to go ahead with the Nclex.. is new mexico a good choice of state? they say it is a friendly state for foreign graduate nurse. They dont require Cg and does not require SSN. I really need words or advice and encouragement so i can make up my mind.. thanks so much!!
