  1. Hey guys I heard that people get sentenced to ramp for missing ce credits. Is that true?
  2. I'm sure you are right, but it wasn't medicaid that did it. They received notice from NJBON telling them to do it. BON also put me on the black list of healthcare providers. This happened after I hired an atty and quit ramp. They are so spiteful. Isn't reporting me to Medicaid for fraud IS fraud. No one cared enough to even respond to my 100s of letters and pleas. I'm just so sick of being broke, embarrassed, angry, hopeless you name it. In the last couple of month both my dad and my grandma were in different hospitals that are very highly rated. The nurses were so completely incompetent. I literally had to explain stuff to them and I even had to put an IV port on my grandmother bc 3 of them couldn't. They walked out I took the stuff.. One two three done. I told them some nurse came in and did it... It just burns me inside that they get to do a job that I loved and did so much better.. I worked at a subacute place and had 3 times more patient and they were so much heavier. Constant codes, infectious diseases wounds that you could put your head in.. Vents.. All in the same day. I helped others bc I never took a lunch or peed or breathed. I would clock out and stay with dying patients. Holding their hands and talking to them even if they were not awake. I was super nurse! These nurses... I don't know where they bought their licenses.. At one of my jobs a patient died bc a nurse neglected him, knowingly.. She is still a nurse. Another one put a can of feeding in a wound drain.. Person had to be rushed back into surgery. She is still practicing. Another nurse that stole narcotics from her patients on regular basis and had a hapbbit of just walking out in the middle of the shift bc it was too stressful. She is still practicing.. It is killing me! And there are more stories like that as I'm sure every nurse knows. It's so frustrating! It was my fault for driving drunk of course, but I more than paid for it! The judge was harsh on me bc of my bac. I thought it's finally over, but it was not.. I will never get over this.. I have ptsd from this and ramp... I cried for a year straight.
  3. What I don't understand is that everyone knows this and no one cares. They just allow this abuse and curruption. People take their lives because of them. They should be charged with corruption, fraud, abuse, interfering with patient care and causing nursing shortage to be even worse, violation of human rights, and manslaughter etc... Why is this not being investigated by anyone? They also called Medicaid fraud department and put me on the fraud list. I had a dwi... I didn't defraud anyone. I can't get a job because fraud is a crime. Not just Healthcare jobs, any jobs. I have a special needs little girl, elderly parents and about to become homeless. I was first in my class and everyone's favorite nurse, patients and coworkers. I wrote emails to politicians, news stations and not even OK we will look into it.. I just don't get it! It's so unfair. It blows my mind.
  4. Sun fire, How did you get the nursing board to agree to Pap? I have been trying for a month now and they are just ignoring me. I hate BON and ramp so much!
  5. Oof that one hit hard! Wild we are held to higher standards than the person running the country. And for not even a fraction of the pay! I mean, obviously patients deserve competent nurses who aren't impaired, but the way these people are twisting my medical history to deem me incompetent makes my blood boil. I just keep reminding myself, nursing is not my identity. If I need to rebuild I will, and likely be happier. One step at a time. I have no doubt that you are a smart amazing nurse. It's a job that gives people ptsd and we are punished for being in pain. My parents brought me here from a communist country and it's not so different here.

I just keep reminding myself, nursing is not my identity. If I need to rebuild I will, and likely be happier. One step at a time. Most of us were never impaired. I had a dwi on my day off, I know someone who didn't do there CUs on time, others who checked themselves into rehab mental facilities. We all get punished. It's pure corruption. Bc I couldn't do ramp njbon didn't stop at suspending my license. They messed with my whole life. It's a nightmare. I loved nursing.. It was my calling and my identity. I was the first in my class in nursing school and harassed doctors and specialists at work to teach me everything. I held people's hands who were dying after clocking out. I know I made a difference! It is so painful and still hard to even comprehend. I was lucky that I had family to help with bills. I have a special needs child and we almost ended up on the street. What happened to others who aren't so lucky? I went back to school and I'm getting another degree. I'm moving on and hoping that one day we all get vindicated and these people go to jail for corruption and abuse. I know of a few cases where nurses took their lives. No surprise, we can relate to the pain. So njbon and ramp are literally committing manslaughter. It's beyond me that they are above the law. I tried writing to tv stations and politicians. No one cares.. Maybe one day..
  7. Side note - I would have never become a nurse if I knew it meant giving up my right to privacy and decency. If any other patient was treated this way, others would be appalled Exactly. We gave our hearts and souls to help people and this is what we get in return. I mean we can still commit a crime and become president of United States. Seems fair..
  8. OK good don't! I would call around and get some free consultations. There are attorneys that deal with this stuff. After you sign it, you are finished. No way to fight it.
  9. It does not work. Getting an attorney is a waste of money. I had one and so did some of the other people. If you sign a RAMP contract, it is legally binding and there is absolutely nothing you can do to get out of it. It is absolutely insane that all this is even legal.
  10. Don't bother with their psychologist. They don't listen to them anyway and sounds like you will most likely be sentenced to 5 years anyway. It literally doesn't matter what they say unless they say you gave a problem. They will use that.
  11. Hi thank you! I had a dwi on my day off. Never was impaired at work or did anything wrong. I was an examplary nurse. The problem is that I started ramp and like many people quit bc I couldn't take the abuse. Do you think it will make it harder for me to get into the other program?
  12. Hi, does anyone know the name of the other program that doctors attend? Its a 2 year program and I don't think it's as traumatizing and evil as ramp. I heard nurses can do the program as well instead of ramp.

  14. Was the senate helpful at all?
  15. Dddd replied to newguy0101's topic in Nurses Recovery
Its a complete violation of rights and freedom. How is that no one has been able to sue ramp of BON and not win.. It's disgusting. They ruined my life for a dui that had nothing to do with my job.. I just don't undeastand how they are allowed to do that. I have a child and no means to support us
