I am so sorry the plasma center job didn't work out for you. I am also in a similar shoes right now. Was contacted by recruiter and pending interview at local plasma center. IF you don't mind me asking, which area or state are you from and what company was this?

Hi there, I was not able to find anything thru that bookstore portal but I just bought the patho book via the discount/website they sent us in the email. I think they will let us know more about pharm book but seems kinda unorganized LOL. but OMG this is coming very very soon, how's everyone doing?

Hello everyone! I will be starting in MSN-FNP at CSULA 2023 August! So excited to be part of the amazing school/group. Can anyone provide me with general information about program, course load, and personal opinion about how things are going? I been trying my best to gather information but I find it very difficult. Thank you very much in advance for your help!

Hi there! Its been a while for me but I remember assist.org is a website that allows you to check if the pre-req course is accepted to certain institution. It is my belief that most of health assessment courses are delivered to nursing students who are enrolled in university's program. However, I would advise to double check with CSULA to ensure what they accept/want! I don't want to advertise or give you false hope/information but I found something like this. I wasn't really sure if the university may honor something like this tho. https://catalog.csueastbay.edu/preview_course_nopop.php?catoid=31&coid=126447 If they do, that is great news and I would say look for a refresher course option. If not, I would ask for further guidelines since health assessment courses are delivered to nursing students primarily! Sorry T_T I wish I know more about this. Let me know how it goes! I also wanted to add... Does anyone know if there's a facebook page where we can ask questions about NP programs and seek for professor recommendations? ?

OMG! My heart almost dropped. I just got a call from one of unit director from medsurg I interviewed with. WHEN I SAW THE CALL, I AUTOMATICALLY WENT OMG, THIS IS IT! Then she thanked me for interviewing with their unit and officially notified me of rejection. However, she also let me know that there are other departments that were interested in me and wish If I want to move forward with them (She will forward my application to them). I said yes and thanked likewise for her time and attention. It was something that I was not aware of. I would actually expect someone giving me a call to let me know about offers but oh wow maybe they really liked me but did not have enough slots or etc who knows. But I am moving with other stepdown/ICU units now. We will see what happens soon :D. Please update us on your journeys if you can here too only if you feel comfortable sharing

Thank you for your service! I am a veteran as well. I served 6 yrs as a combat medic in the army (I was not a line medic tho usually worked with CASH) I know how difficult it is sometimes to sell yourself without having much of healthcare related experience especially going thru covid era but having military experience is definitely unique and something that you can apply in many different life situations. Not everyone gets to have those kinds of unique experience in life. I am sure you will do just fine with the interview ? good luck!
