  1. Most nursing homes would be willing to take you , because they just do not have any applicant. Some med surg units would also be willing to take you in. Try to work with staffing agencies.

You would only expected to complete 80 to 100 hours each semester, which is about 2- 3 days a week. If you have great support system you can work as well. It would be very hard to work when during 1 semester you would be taking both maternity and peds rotation. You would only have 6 weeks to get 50 clinical hours and there is only 1 final exams and a few quizzes. It is almost imposible to find preceptor for peds rotation for free. P.s I have to pay $13 for each clinical hours. And $18 for peds rotation.
  3. Many companies will lure you in by telling you that you would see 30- 45 each day, but it can go up and down. 70 patient is too much, they taking full advantage of you. I was in similar situation during my shadowing at the clinic provider was seen 50+ patient on Saturday. She always stay late on Monday's. She only has receptionist and x-ray tech.
  4. 1) Saunders NCLEX book - save money and use old version ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE 2) YouTube video by Sarah - Google 3) test banks and practice question from resources like quizlet. Google topic and practice question. 4) Learn HOW to answer nursing questions. - Listen on YouTube or sign up for Mark Klimek lecture 5) Picmonic - MUST HAVE
  5. Get Saunders Comprehensive Review for the NCLEX-RN® Examination - You need to read / study and understand entire book. once you done study invest some money and purchase UWorld NCLEX subscription for 1 month. It is very expensive so do not buy it until you are ready. Study 50 to 75 questions each day. goal is to know materials. English my 2nd language. I pass NCLEX in 76 questions.
  6. Get 1 month subscription of u-world practice question. Go through 50-75 question each day and learn materials. It is expensive, but worth every penny.
  7. I used SM review and her practice question plus Cohen and leik review . I also purchased UWorld practice qustions and bordvitals but did not have time to go through all of them
  8. Many would reccomend Sarah Michelle review , but it is very expensive $400 a month for online access and $900 for live 6 weeks class. I really like cohen review - $100 a month + Sarah Michelle practice questions. I feel like I have seen questions on my exam from both Sarah and Cohen review on my exam.
  9. Very few school would help with clinical, but they charge extra in tuitions. I compared many school with placement and without, it was $70,000 cheaper to find your own clinical preceptor.
  10. Check out quizlet for exam practice questions and notes. Go back nd study all question with effort to understand answer and not to memorize it.
  11. I would reach out to lawyer and ask them this question, but I do not believe that you can lose your nursing license due to this situation.
  12. You was supposed to use WRONG credit card number, so they would not charge you. P.s I took my exam 4 years ago, I got bad pop up, but I pass my exam.
