  1. I have attended a school in Florida. The school was not apart of the "operation". I applied for an endorsement & was denied due to the school not meeting certain education requirements by the "board of nursing". The school is approved by Florida board of nursing . However, is on probation & doesn't hold any type of accreditation I was advised by the "mbon" in order to obtain a license in. I would need to complete a new nursing program & retake the NCLEX. Or move & see what state would endorse me. However, I would still be able to practice as a "RN" if any job would hire me ... I just would not be able to obtain an endorsed licensed in that state. 1. Complete a community college bridge program ( 5 semesters) . 2. Complete a LPN- BSN ( 5 semester ) program. 3. Don't retake the RN program. Complete my BSN & complete my master ( NP or MSN in education). *** If obtaining my NP not sure how that will work if the state won't give me an endorsed license. Biggest hurtle is almost every hospital has rejected me due to having a compact license & not a state endorsed license .
  2. What under investigation for what ?
  3. I have been waiting almost 6 months .
  4. When did you apply for you California endorsement ? How long have you been waiting ? What have the California Board of nursing said in regards to the information the school would need to send to the boards? Are yoouwaiting on the school to send required documents or for California to approve you for a license?
  5. Have anyone successfully completed the program and was able to get transcripts submitted to the board of nursing ? Have anyone had any issues with getting their licensed endorsed after completion and or denied a license ?
  6. Yes , I currently hold a Florida compact RN license
  7. I have reached out to my board of nursing and was giving instructions on how to apply for endorsement. They are requiring the school to complete a questionnaire. However , the school is unwilling to complete the form. I am not sure what actions I can take at this point.
  8. Hi, Anyone applied to the LPN to RN Spring program at HCC? Can anyone clarify what's needed to test out of 2nd semester Medsurg & Mental health ? Also what I being used to study? I am still waiting on the decision.

  10. What end up happening ? Did you apply for your initial license in Florida ? Then attempt to endorse to New York?
  11. What is the name of the school ? Did you complete the process or did you go elsewhere ? Where you stuck with just a single Florida license or multi-state license ?

  13. Wow ! I’m in Md too would you mind speaking privately ? I’m in the same situation but mine is different. I’m not able to Private message you . I went to a school in Florida I’m in MD just moved back and I have a balance to pay before I can obtain my ATT & was trying to figure if I should process or start over . I already completed the program just have not tested yet . I’m worried MD won’t endorse it permanently.
  14. Okay , what state are you trying to get it compact in ? Did you attend school in Florida ? I attend school in Florida and trying to get it endorsed in MD I’m having a difficult time .
  15. They are banned in Maryland

  20. Have anyone attended a school in Florida and received a license in Maryland ? I need advice asap !
  21. MD listed them as unapproved where you Abel to get your licensed ? I am now in a situation for a school in Florida and basically can’t sit for my boards . Please let me know thank you
  22. If it’s anything like MD you won’t be able to !
  23. This happened with my RN school in Florida did you end up finding out
  24. I attended a school in Florid approved by FLORIDA Board of Nursing !! After meeting with MBON I was informed that the school has to submit documentation that’s available through the MBON to them . After the school submit the information than MD will approve or denied it. The denial /approval process is strictly based off the documentation that’s give on the application process! It must Aline with MD nursing education requirements. If the school won’t submit the paperwork than you the student will have to take a chance apply to be licensed in MD and MD will still check the transcripts and whatever else required documents that’s needed to endorse your compact license and or allow your initial license to be in MD… PLEASE BE AWARE OF these schools when in MD , NYC , and other states . Beware of trying to get a license in Florida and working in a compact state. If Florida isn’t your primary residency… how will you renew your license ???? I’d love some insight on someone that has actually went to a school that isn’t on MBON Approved list and was able to get there licensed endorsed or actual get a license in MD. A lot of time & money wasted !! I will have to attend another school at this moment if I want my RN License .
