  1. Hey there! I would say having a GPA over 3.0 is worth applying, especially since your background has some healthcare involved. Being from Europe makes it hard to judge your chances but I think it's worth a shot. UMSON highly values diversity and inclusivity, so you can try to appeal to that in your essays. Best of luck.
  2. I probably would. I had a block on my TEAS test requirement and needed to contact admissions to remove it since they were waiving the TEAS requirement for people who have a bachelor's.
  3. I made a FB group for the USG students. Come thru: https://www.facebook.com/groups/459138279491738
  4. I think retaking the classes you got a C in and taking the TEAS anyway if you are a strong standardized test taker may greatly help your chances in you decide to reapply. There is a saying that nurses eat their young. You sound like a nurse in the making that will break that stereotype!
  5. For sure, thanks for the encouragement. UMSON is a good school and it's just the nature of good schools to be selective. It makes getting in that much more satisfying but I'll try to keep a positive outlook until my decision comes out and will constructively work on a Plan B if things don't pan out. Happy for you, Bear!
  6. Yeah I am a bit nervous since my stats are a bit of a mixed bag. I have a Bachelors from about 10 years ago but didn't do very well then (life circumstances and all, won't get into it). However I have a 4.0 in the prerequisites, in PTK, and pretty confident in my essays. The requirement for TEAS was waived for me since I already have a bachelors, but kind of regret choosing to waive it since it's another piece that could bolster my overall portfolio. I hear they approach admissions "holistically" so I hope I showed enough to prove that I'm a different person now compared to when I was first in college LOL
  7. This might be a stretch but has anyone been rejected yet ? It seems they are quickly accepting best qualified and holding off decision on less qualified applicants to see how they stack up against new applicants (just a theory). I saw on the previous Spring admissions thread, some people didn't get rejections (and a few acceptances) until as late as November!
