  3. Fairfield CRNA 2023

I have a college friend who’s in the program already and he said he heard they admitted a couple of people already. Could be a rumor but he’s there and knows the staff so I wouldn’t think so.
  4. Fairfield CRNA 2023

They told everyone that we wouldn’t hear back til they interviewed everyone. But it does suck that some people already heard a yes. They must have been rly good or something. Oh well 24 seats is a lot to fill so hopefully we all have a good chance!
  5. Fairfield CRNA 2023

Oh it is 24 now. Has been since last year maybe? I know the seniors now are 16 but I think the ones below them is 24 now. They said 250 applicants for 24 spots on the Q&A part. Hopefully it works out for everyone. Seems like an amazing school!
  6. Fairfield CRNA 2023

Good luck! I know they said we wouldn’t hear anything til the end of interviews but I did hear they admitted a couple of people already from the interviews so we’ll see I guess.

Are you interviewing this cycle too? And yes me too!
  8. Fairfield CRNA 2023

Very easy going. Each person only asked one question and then they let you ask questions. A lot more personality questions vs clinical. And there was a Q&A session before the interview too.
  9. Fairfield CRNA 2023

There was 4 on the interview panel. The director, assistant director, professor, and sim director.

  11. Do I need to keep two active RN licenses?

I had the same question. I’m glad you asked. Good luck!
  12. Am I making the wrong decision?

That doesn’t sound safe at all! Our charges have all been there 5+ years and are experienced enough for us to call when we need them. I hope you can protect your license and your patients and work somewhere better!
  13. Starting A Career In My 50's: CNA or LPN?

LPN! So much more to do and skills you can learn. Especially if it’s free take it!
  14. Im 44 / is it too late for the Hospital

It would be cool to experience that side of nursing as well I’d say. However, I think OR staff always have more fun than floor staff. Good luck!
  15. Telehealth Nursing?
