When I applied to the ED Fellowship I received an offer as a new grad brand new nurse. They like new grads because they can "mold" us. I received an offer from nyu, so I didn't go forward with northwell. Good luck! They love new grads.

They post new grad postings for Fall and Spring Grads. So I'm not sure when you should apply. But they probably hire year round for med surg. I wonder how their benefits are. Insurance etc

I didn't see any Fellowships for south shore. I believe they are mainly hiring experienced nurses as per linked in.

All of this!! Every hospital has different energy. I luckily received an offer from my first course as well. Go in with confidence. We are new nurses and they know that. For northwell I had no clinical questions, but for other ED interviews I did. And some questions I didn't know, but I knew something. So just say something close or related to it. Talk to them as if they are friends you haven't seen in a long time and be yourself.

Awesome, congrats!! I didn't receive any feedback yet, but I did accept an offer at an ED at a hospital in the city. So I'm happy!! That base salary is pretty good. Good luck on your journey!

I applied to April fellowship last week and had an interview this week. I didn't apply to jobs until the day I recieved my unofficial results from NCLEX. I had 3 interview within 2 weeks of applying. You can apply now or later. I just felt weird applying before passing the boards.

Thank you! Email the recruiter or nurse manager. Alot of the staff nurses left for travel, they need you. And you can always apply to nyp or nyu. Do the hiring events as well.

NYU in the city

I have an interview this week for April ED fellowship at valley stream. How was the interview? I heard if they call you for an interview then you have the job because many nurses left to travel ??‍♀️ What is the starting salary?

I didn't have my interview yet, but it is next week. I'll be interviewing with a panel virtually for a different northwell site. Not sure of salary, but it would great if people started posting. New Grad for NYU us 104k + 6k differential. I would really love to know Northwell's.

NYU Manhattan 104k Emergency Department

I recieved a live virtual interview a day after completing the 1st virtual interview. Haven't heard back from the other fellowships yet.

I applied the the ED Fellowship last week. Today I recieved a call from a recruiter and a quick screening, and then she sent the invitation. I'll keep you posted. I'm a new grad BSN. I also had 2 semesters of clinical at Northwell LIJ. I was told this is for the ED at LIJ/Valley Stream, but I did apply to New Hyde Park and Manhassat as well.
