JHU DNP Summer 2022
Hey! I submitted with the Nov 1st deadline and had everything verified in mid-October, I think. It may have even been early October. I interviewed in mid-November, and I was contacted about a week beforehand. However, I think it's much faster with the early deadline. At least, that's what I've seen on other threads. I've also read somewhere that they view things in batches as they come in, though I don't know for sure if that's the case. Admissions has always been very responsive, though, and they have online chats everyday, so I bet you could ask if yours was verified a little later ?

JHU DNP Summer 2022
Sorry for the delay. I've been bad about checking this site. After I applied, I received an email with info on setting up an interview with two faculty members. The interviews were back-to-back on video chat and were very laid-back. The interviewers just want to get to know you, know why you chose JHU, and what some of your goals are. Not long after that, I received an email notifying me that I was accepted. It was a fairly seamless process. Fingers crossed that you'll hear something soon!

Patients who are faking illness
It might help to remember that not all patients feigning illness are malingering. Some may have factitious or somatic disorder and should be treated. This is particularly true for patients "seeking attention." Some helpful info: https://www.promisesbehavioralhealth.com/addiction-recovery-blog/what-is-the-difference-between-malingering-and-factitious-disorder/ https://www.psychologytoday.com/us/conditions/malingering

I'm Done
@summertx Vaccine status is not protected information. Work places, schools, camps have long required proof of certain vaccines. Knowing a patient's vaccine status is important, and it's absolutely OK to ask about vaccine status in the community. A person can refuse to answer about their status, but it is within rights to ask. Perhaps you need to read a bit about HIPAA and what it covers.

DNP UAB, MN, GW
Does anyone have experience with UAB, U of Minnesota, or George Washington post-MSN DNP programs or these schools in general? A friend and I are both applying to various programs and would love feedback, especially regarding group/busy work, networking, etc. Thanks!
