  1. Hi, If you guys want to know how I found out I got in was by looking at the BCIT Learning Hub. However, that was for the January 2022 intake and we had the Non-Cognitive Quiz instead of Snapshot, which meant that the quiz was registered on the Learning Hub so we found out early. However, I got my notification that I got in for January on October 13th, 2021, and they said all offers would be done by October 15th. It seems like you guys will find out closer to maybe around February 10th.
  2. Hi if this helps, I'm currently in the BCIT Nursing program. I did casper in February 2021, and those results worked for the whole year of 2021 intakes, doesn't apply to the start date (for me it was January 2022). You can also email the Nursing program directly to double check, they are friendly and respond in about 3-5 days. Feel free to ask me any other questions if you guys have any!
  3. I wasn't able to tbh. But that is just me honestly. A lot of my colleagues were able but also expressed how overwhelming term 1 is. I heard from other students in later terms that (term 2 - 4) is waaaay better than term 1.
  4. just finished term 1 at BCIT and it was really intense tbh
  5. Oh sorry, I sent one in.
  6. If you could send me the link. Thank you!
  7. Hi guys, I checked my communication and I got into the Nursing Program as well. Good luck to you all.
  8. not me LOL I’m just working full time this week and vibing with whatever happens LOL. If I wasn’t the anxiety would get to me ?. I hope everyone has a nice thanksgiving weekend!!
  9. Pretty interesting. Tbh snapshot for Casper looks kinda scary LOL
  10. Yeah that’s probably it
  11. I think the course was removed after the deadline on the 29th.
  12. I went to the learning hub and I got onto step 2 as well. Thanks for telling us.
  13. Interview? I haven't heard of that before, it's interesting. Good luck!!
  14. Someone contacted BCIT, and they said they kinda grade applications by the following. 1. Casper 2. CGPA + Number of Credits + if you have a Bachelors Degree 3. Health Care Work Experience. I can’t quite say how your application will do as we’re all kinda confused, but use that for reference.
  15. Yeah probably 54 since they give 10 to waitlists
  16. Just pick any from the Red Cross website that includes mask fit. I did mine at Foundations First Aid, they were very nice, and I learned a lot.
  17. I kinda recommend if you haven’t done the BLS-CPR (HCP) and Mask fit to do that now. Classes will probably fill up quick once results come out, and we don’t have much time till January.
  18. Woah that’s a long wait. That gives a short time to do the immunization paperwork and first aid
  19. I looked at the 2021 September intake. They had their final Casper test date on May 3rd, and the final submission for previously taken caspers on May 17. People started hearing about offers by May 27th. I think since our final Casper date was August 5th and final submission for Casper was August 6th, I think we might hear back this week or next week (since caspers from august 5th are marked now). though I could be wrong LOL
  20. Yup I’m pretty sure. I emailed the admissions team about another question, but the admissions team reviews your application and gives it to the department for review if you meet minimal requirements. Just in case you can email the nursing department.
  21. Hi I think I found a useful calculation to calculate your GPA between schools. Basically; School 1: # of credits * Cgpa = S1 school 2: # of credits * Cgpa = S2 school 3: # of credits * Cgpa = S3 overall GPA between schools: = (S1 + S2 + S3)/sum of all credits between all schools I hope this helps
  22. I sorta anticipated that too. Thanks for the information though, I appreciate it!
  23. Hi everyone, Just out of curiosity, do any of you have an idea of when admissions will get back to us about our applications? Do you think it's sometime in August? Thank you!
