Does anyone here have to do remediation classes to get a passing chancellors formula? I don’t know anyone on the same boat as me

I asked Ryan if I can take classes to boost up my chancellors formula and he said they don’t have a nursing counselor but then how can a general counselor know about the process tho ? I didn’t pass my TEAS also and he said to remediate where I took the test but I took it thru ATI so I take the test again with them right? im so lost!

I applied to Gcc and lacc. But if I do the remediation plan for Gcc that would only give me a chance for GCCs program though not lacc since it’s different schools and I’d have to take 2 different remediation plans right? I had a withdrew for physio so that also hurt my application since they take that into consideration ? aren’t we allowed to have one repeat but it can still count against us?

I got a C in English too but sociology a B. Guess it wasn’t enough. Don’t they usually care more about the science classes??

You also didn’t meet the cut score? I think we had to get As on 3 science classes to get cut off of 80

I got an email that I didn’t meet the cut score of 80%. Can someone let me know what the criteria is? I got a B in physio second time but withdrew first time, B micro, C anatomy. those probably messed me up ??

Oh yea lmao I mean 38k my mind is everywhere!! But I wonder how much less it would be if you’ve done pre reqs already LOL hopefully get some money off for the tuition

That’s gonna be my last option too! I might go into American career college lvn program it’s like 28k tho ?

Oh I see. But wouldn’t nursing programs accept only the first grade (passing) you get on the science classes? Yea American career college, it is expensive but it’s pretty close to me. And no I haven’t heard of Downey adult school it’s too far for me! Have you also heard about CES college in Burbank for their lvn program?

Ahhh I don’t think I can tho since it’s a passing ? I’m so bummed out I didn’t pass my TEAS first time for so I’m thinking of going to Acc’s lvn program

For the lvn program, I know you need your CNA certification but do they base accepting students on the grades of anatomy, physio, developmental psych, & nutrition? I got a C in anatomy& nutrition, B in physio, A in psych. What are my chances??

Yea I did. It was sent since I put lacc as the school to send it to but isn’t that separate from the chancellors cut score? I think the chancellors cut score is mostly based on GPA or am I wrong

Hello. I applied to lacc’s program but I didn’t pass the TEAS so I’m waiting an email from them. Is there anyone also on the same boat? Should I be expecting an email regarding my TEAS score?
