  1. They advised us to register for courses by July 29, so maybe some spots will open up after then if people don’t register? You can probably check how many people are fully registered after July 15 which could give you an indication if people may drop. Basically if all 120 people haven’t registered on their date/time, it might indicate some people are still on the fence. Hope you hear back soon:)
  2. I don’t really know anything about U of T nursing, but I believe the class size for UBC is 120 for most courses. For our second and fourth semester though half do mental health and half do pediatrics so I’m assuming it would be 60 per class for those semesters
  3. OMG THANK YOU FOR POSTING THIS! Hadn’t heard anything, checked that email and turns out I’m in the top 15 wait list?
  4. Hmmm not really sure sorry:/ As long as you completed everything else it might (?) be okay?? I would try calling tomorrow though I’m sure they can work something out for you. Hope you figure it out:)
  5. Thank you so much!! Glad I’m not the only one. We’ll see on Monday then:)
  6. Hey guys! Was just wondering if anyone received a welcome letter after accepting their offer and completing all the acceptance requirements? Or are able to access the folder ‘BSN program requirements‘ on the canvas shell? Just want to make sure I’m not the only one who hasn’t received the letter or access the folder as they haven’t answered my email:(
  7. I’m still waiting as well! I applied Feb 1 so it’s been really frustrating seeing “pending department review” for soooo long
  8. Hey I feel the same way! I haven’t heard back either and it’s killing me. Don’t give up hope it’s not over yet:) Congrats to everyone that got accepted!
  9. Hahaha yeah I’ve heard some people actually like it for the length guess it just depends on the person! I also did my undergrad at UBC and as much as I love the campus I like the idea of a change. Also BCIT is closer to me than UBC LOL that 1.5 hour commute every day kills?
  10. Sure! I’m just not a fan of how short the program is, it’s already accelerated at BCIT so I can’t even imagine how crazy the UBC one must be. In the end I’d be happy with both though:) Are you going to UBC in September?
  11. Hey! Congrats on your acceptance!! I got accepted into UBC as well but have not heard back from BCIT yet. Personally I would choose BCIT if I got in, but I think there are a few others on here who would choose UBC so I think it just comes down to preference really
