  1. I just received my acceptance, crying happy tears. Hope everyone receives the news they are hoping for.
  2. Highly doubt it, even without the holiday I don’t recall BCIT ever releasing acceptances/non offers over the weekend
  3. Still pending department review. I doubt we will hear anything until after Thanksgiving. They usually send out non-offers / acceptances from 2-6 pm
  4. I am in the same boat, also checking this forum for any updates on other’s admissions ?
  5. I just finished my non-cognitive quiz with just enough time to spare. Reminder to those that the deadline to complete it is today at 2:00PM ! Good luck to everyone!
  6. There were a large amount of changes since my last application, the only thing that remained constant was my Casper score that I reused it for this intake. I worked at a vaccination clinic in March of this year for six months, this was not included in my September application but was included for this intake. This job consisted of patient observation, vaccine administration, and data entry. My amount of credits and cGPA increased with the inclusion of my last term. With the January application, I was able to include my certifications and additional related volunteer experience. Prior to this intake, the only main positions I had included were volunteer but in this intake they were all employment positions.
  7. I received a non offer in Sept 2021. I just checked learning hub and also see the non-cognitive quiz as well. Good luck to everyone!
  8. Hey guys, my application status just changed to “Non-offer” as well.
  9. Hey guys, Hoping we all hear some good news this week! Does anyone know if we need to submit an updated transcript to our application with our term 2 grades that were not accounted for in the initial transcript we applied with?
  10. Dangg!! That’s amazing. Where did you do the health care assistant program?
  11. Congrats! What work/volunteer experience did you apply with?
  12. Congratulations to all those who got accepted and best of luck to those looking to apply into the next possible intake! I was rejected from the UBC Nursing program a few weeks ago and I am really riding on an acceptance from BCIT. The wait is killing me for sure! I have yet to receive any kind of email/update regarding my application status. Does anyone know if they sent out the quartile rankings in the waitlist/rejection letter from BCIT like UBC did?
  13. Thanks for the tips!! I am still waiting on a response from BCIT’s nursing program. If I do not get accepted there, I will take a few more courses at UBC this year to boost my GPA and gain some healthcare related work/volunteer experience as well. I will then apply for the September 2022 intake when it opens. I have a feeling I might not get into BCIT so I am crossing my fingers for UBC next year for both of us!
  14. Hey, I received the same email. ? I scored 2 in grades and Casper but 3 in supplemental. May I ask what work/volunteer experiences you applied with?
  15. Yes, I believe it is around 120 people who get accepted into the first cohort.
  16. Hi! Congratulations on getting in!! The quartile rankings are only available to those who were either rejected or waitlisted. All those who received acceptances are unable to view their rankings. I heard that the SSC takes about 10 days to update after the initial emails. All the best!
  17. Congratulations to everyone who has been accepted! I was rejected from the program but plan on applying for the next intake. I scored 2 for grades and my CASper but my supplemental application scored a 3. It saddens me because I believe I had put a lot of thought into my supplemental. If anyone has any advice on it or any volunteer/work experiences they’re specifically looking for, let me know! Thank you.
