  1. I used to live in Prescott, but moved a few months ago to Wilhoit which is just a few miles away, but takes about 1/2 an hour due to curvy mountain roads. Prescott is a great town to live in. The culture, scenery and activities give it a fun, yet wholesome feel. I would recommend just about anywhere in the area. Just know that if you move to Chino Valley, you will be dealing with horrendous traffic on your way to work. There's only one road. They say it's currently used by 30,000 people...and the projection is 60,000.
  2. The only reason tattoos are not yet considered professional is that professionals have only just begun to show theirs. There was a time when ear rings were for gypsies, make up for harlots and a shaved underarm was considered obscene.
  3. I'm a massage therapist who is just barely beginning my prerequisites for nursing school. I was reading through this forum, as ortho is at the top of my list, when your entry caught my eye. I just wanted to say that over the past 14 years I have helped countless people relieve their piriformis syndrome. That said, I'm highly specialized. Do NOT go to just any LMT. Find a great one. They don't have to have studied NMT or Rolfing...it doesn't hurt, but there are many other modalities which are just as effective. The important thing is to find an LMT who really knows their kines & has medical/rehab massage experience. A good place to start is the AMTA find a therapist site. It's located here: http://www.amtamassage.org/findamassage/locator.aspx Best of luck!
  4. Great song. I especially liked the second link you provided. Thank you so much.:redpinkhe
  5. 15 years as a massage therapist
  6. My 2 y/0 ESRD daughter is having one placed soon. How much of a risk is there of sepsis -- in your experience. I know that our Nephrologist is the best source, but they tend to be VERY glass half full types.
  7. That depends highly upon whether you are talking to a nephrologist or the surgeon. Also taken into account is the fill vollume. You can build up over a few weeks.
