I chose Hem/Onc and Endocrine as my top 2 unit choices. I haven't heard anything.

I understand. I wonder if different recruiters have different timelines, or why some of us were told different dates. It doesn't make any sense.

When I got the call about my top two units which was on the 21st – they told me you either would or wouldn't hear back in the next two weeks. Which would be 4/4. Which is different from what some people were told. So, there is still hope for us all!

Hematology/Oncology would be my top choice!! Did they say if all units are hiring? Hmm... that's an interesting way of doing this – you would have thought they would have just put unit choices on the application, rather than calling everyone.

I just got a call, saying I had not received an offer for General Peds. But best of luck to you all, I am crossing my fingers for everyone!!

I think it went well! The panel was so nice... it's just the waiting part afterwards is harder than the actual interview : ) How did yours go!?

I had mine yesterday and I didn't have any zoom trouble during mine! It went well – they asked about 8 questions and then talked about the unit after. It goes straight from question to question, so just take deep breaths in-between! I am sure everyone will do great! Good luck!!

I got a return email, from my follow-up on when the application would open. They said that the application opens on March 8th and will close on March 15th. The application process also requires your current resume, unofficial transcript, a personal mission statement – 500 words or less, and 2 letters of recommendation (one from a pediatric/obstetric clinical instructor). Well, I hope we just get through this week and the results are good at the end for us all!! Did they mention when people will hear back with offers? I know on the website it says the 15th, but I hope we don't have to wait that long.

Yay, at least it's over for you! I am sure you did great, it always feels worse than it really is when you think you say "um". About how long did it last? Did you feel prepared for the case study?

I haven't heard anyone get NICU, so maybe they didn't have any turnover. Very true – the part I don't like about behavioral questions, is they are all so similar so it's hard to know how to make answers unique.

Mine says "Your application has been sent to a manager. If the manager would like to proceed with an interview, you will be contacted by their office". And I have an interview scheduled, but I'm not sure when the status changed to this.

I'm not sure how they choose candidates to interview. Has anyone had a call or been scheduled an interview for Adult Oncology or Pediatrics?
