  1. I was worried about this too as when I tried to save it as a PDF it was blank. I ended up taking a screenshot and submitting it as a PNG on Canvas and they “marked” it and it was no problem! You do not need to manually share your results to UBC.
  2. Hey all I was also accepted today! Will be declining my offer so a spot will free up, good luck ?
  3. Silly question but do current UBC students still have to send official transcripts? If anyone can answer my question I'd really appreciate it since the deadline is soon!
  4. Thank you!! Excited to meet you and the rest of our cohort! ?
  5. Got my acceptance at 2:54pm! I was #8!!
  6. Congrats!! I'm #8 and still haven't heard anything ?
  7. I just called BCIT admissions and they said acceptances are sent out on a rolling basis (I.e. all 64 acceptances were not sent out 2 days ago). Stay positive everyone!
  8. Literally same ? I'm also waiting to hear back from UBC because I'm currently on the waitlist soooo I've been super impatient
  9. Yeah I noticed BCIT is sending offers! I also applied there but ultimately UBC is my first choice ?
  10. Hopefully you hear some good news tomorrow! From previous years they usually send acceptances from the waitlist every 5-6 days so ??
  11. Anyone else getting impatient ? I thought for sure we would've seen more movement of the waitlist by now
  12. Congrats!! I'm honestly surprised people are hearing back from the waitlist in May since for the past few years it's always been June. @gvnursing have you heard anything (since you're #4)?
  13. I wonder how many people they sent acceptances to then.. I guess only 2 or 3 ppl? Makes me nervous since maybe those accepted aren’t rejecting their offers ? But yes keep us updated if you get in!!
  14. congrats!! I wonder if anyone else has received a letter as well... hopefully my time comes soon ??
  15. I don't think we'll hear back till the beginning of June if there is movement of the waitlist! Maybe we'll get lucky and we'll find out sooner but for now I'll cross my fingers for the both of us ??
  16. I really hope so!! I'm just nervous because of all the applicants for UBC's program this year so it makes me think those who were accepted would likely accept their offer (but this is pure speculation ofc). I would definitely pick UBC's program because of the shorter duration of the program and I'm already a UBC student and truly love the campus. How about you? I noticed you were accepted into UBC so congrats!!
  17. Hopefully we find out sometime next week or the week after if we're shortlisted! I'm currently on the waitlist for UBC's nursing program and although I'm hoping to get off the waitlist I'm still nervous about the possibility of not so if I get into BCIT I would be very happy.
  18. Does UBC nursing care at all about your grades from this semester? I did decent on my courses (but could've done better) and I'm hoping that doesn't affect anything if I am offered a seat in the program.
  19. I scored a 1 for grades and had an 89.3% average (4.30/4.33)!
  20. I really hope so!! It's honestly just surprising people reject their offers (ofc there's legitimate reasons for why) since I would accept mine in a heartbeat ?
  21. For anyone on the waitlist and curious about how far back you can be on the waitlist and possibly get accepted, this is what I found from the previous years: 2020: Acceptances released May 1st (deadline to accept: June 22) First movement of waitlist June 5th (#6) #35 LAST ACCEPTED 2019: Acceptances released May 2nd (deadline to accept: June 15) SSC updated May 6th First movement of waitlist June 10th (#7) #38 LAST ACCEPTED 2018: Acceptances released May 7th (deadline to accept: June 15) #34 accepted June 11th ? last accepted 2017: Acceptances released April 27th First movement June 6th (#19) ? last accepted Additionally, for years even further back (this is a comment from someone in the 2017 thread): In 2009: 17 people got off the waitlist In 2010: 15 people got off the waitlist In 2011: 20 people got off the waitlist In 2012: Didn't get a final number, but #13 got off the waitlist on June 21st In 2013: 17 people got off the waitlist. As you can tell, I have no life LOL
  22. Wishing luck to us and everyone else who's been waitlisted. For those who were accepted, what date must you accept your offer by?
  23. I got an email about it! Ah I hope I get in!! Honestly I'm grateful to be on the waitlist. Which school are you planning on going to instead?
  24. I'm on the waitlist(?). They referred to it as an alternate list and I'm #8
  25. I haven't gotten any email, even in my junk
