I am also wondering if there is a FB group. I know that NUS usually makes a group for the incoming cohort. Maybe we should wait a little longer?

Hi folks! We might hear back either this Friday or by the end of next week at the latest, so I decided to come here and spread some positivity. I know I am losing my sanity, so just remember that you are not alone at all. We are all in this together! You are all amazing human beings with a lot to offer to the healthcare community. Please stay positive, and your time to shine will come soon! I really hope that we all get those acceptance letters ❤️

hahaha it is definitely not as impressive as yours. My UBC average would be around 86. I have also volunteered at Children's hospital like a lot of the folks here. I am a research assistant at a lab at UBC. I have some other volunteer experience in the community plus some retail experience!

I think both programs are equally competitive, but they have different students who are interested in them. For example, a 35-year old parent would probably prefer UBC over BCIT because they can quickly get their degree and start working. Whereas BCIT is preferred by those who really want to get hands-on experience and may have some sort of speciality in mind since you can take some specialization courses at BCIT. How about everyone here? Do you have a preference?
