I went to the Labcorp located inside the Walgreens in Monument Blvd. in Concord and there was not much of a wait but since I had the appointment set up online, I did not have to wait for more than 5 min.

How about we form a group or something like that and keep each other updated and give ideas to anyone confused or stuck in the whole onboarding process? Please suggest, I can form the group if need be. To be honest, I have not even started the onboarding process. Will start working on them from today.

Hi All, Anybody has any ideas when LMC starts sending the onboarding forms and other required forms for Medical.

Congratulations to all who got accepted in the program and hope people in alternate list can get in too. They will give a decision- latest by coming Monday; if possible earlier than that. There are 53 applicants that took the TEAS and I was told that 32 will be admitted to the Cohort, so we all have a good shot at getting admitted. We should have answer by this Monday, anxious wait over the weekend! Good Luck to everyone!

Oh, I did not come to the campus today to take the TEAS, I took that yesterday from home, I had a very good score, so I am hopeful that I should get in. Fingers Crossed!!

How did the TEAS go for you? I know most of us will get in.

Did you receive anything after sending the acceptance form? Are we supposed to do anything before the Orientation?

Hey Guys, Good News on my end: - I got acceptance from Merritt with an apology that they somehow messed up in sending me an email. The letter sent to me is dated May 24th, 2022. - I also got picked up for Chabot for Fall 2023. - LMC also shortlisted me in last 60 people and I need to take TEAS 7 to secure my seat there. I have decided to keep Merritt as a back up just in case my score in TEAS 7 does not get me into LMC. I will be joining the mandatory orientation on June 14th and hope to meet some of you. At last all good news after so much of stress and anxiety. Thank you all for the encouraging word and support.

To those of you who received the rejection letters, when did you receive those? I have not received any rejection or acceptance so far. I emailed them a couple of times but they have not responded to my emails. Looks like I am rejected.

Thank you all for your suggestions and recommendation. I definitely will try to CSU and USF in the next cycle should I not get into LMC because, LMC has always been my first choice, as I took all my pre-reqs there and I applied to other community colleges in Bay Area to give myself a back up but looks like my back-ups are discouraging and frustrating. LMC should be inviting me to take the TEAS 7 around the second week of June and will see if I will get in or not. It will solely be dependent on my TEAS 7 score and I will have to work as hard as I can in the next few days to make sure I score the maximum points. It's very encouraging and uplifting how you have all poured in your support. I am frustrated but have not lost hope yet :)!

Yes, feels a little discouraging, I can't take any student loans as I have kids to look after and I am already financially constrained but hopefully LMC will be the place, I most likely will get in, I probably need over 80% in TEAS 7 to give myself a great chance. I am happy that so many aspiring students are able to get into the programs and hopefully our paths cross in the future.

Yes, Sara, I have applied to community colleges only and so far 6 lotteries and I have not got in any of those. My last bet is LMC which is merit based and I have probably the top points so far but need to take TEAS 7 for that program. Hopefully will get in there.

Have not got an email so far, looks like the lottery is killing all the hopes, 4.0 GPA and over 90% in TEAS does not get me in any programs applied so far and this is utterly frustrating. But congratulations to all!

Looks like they have not done the lottery yet and hopefully they will do that soon and inform students by June 3rd, 2022 as stated in the brochure.

Not heard anything so far. If you guys don't mind sharing your TEAS 6 scores. I had a 90 on the TEAS 6. I just want to get an idea about the pool of applicants applying to the program. Thanks a ton!

I don't know why colleges have students go through all the hassle, take the TEAS and everything and send this reply towards the very end. I don't know if we could complain about it anywhere. This does not sound and look fair on hard working students.

Oh, no worries, I can understand how tough time management is. I am going slow in my preparation this time. I am focussing more on reading and Language Usage section this time and will probably be giving less focus to Math and Science.

Those of you preparing for the TEAS, here is the list of materials that I used to take the TEAS 6 in January and I scored a perfect 90 studying seriously for two weeks. - ATI official study manual (Study each chapters and do the quizzes after each chapter, answer the quizzes like you would answer in real exam situation, don't look back to get your answer correct). -Mometrix Book (use it for the concept building- especially to summarize the science section). Practice tests at the end of this book are pretty good. -Practice TESTS (Online Version from ATI TEAS) these tests just feel like the real test and are pretty similar. Time these tests and make sure you don't spend a lot of time in one question- especially in the Reading Section which can be really time consuming. Youtube: Science: Ninja Nerd (Anatomy and Physiology) Dr. Matt and Mike (Anatomy and Physiology) Dr. Campbell (Anatomy and Physiology) Khan Academy (Anatomy, Physiology, Chemistry and Biology) English (Reading Section): Carolyn McAllister videos (These are short videos but very concise and informative for a good revision) Notes taking: Make good notes and try to relate the concepts you learn using concept maps (these were really helpful for me as I am a visual learner). Practice as many quizlets as possible (the only problem with some quizlets are that there are so many wrong answers in the Science Part). Try to study in group and ask each other as many questions as possible. - Don't try to cram everything in a single day but do meaningful studies and take breaks to give your mind some relaxation. TEAS 7 has some changes like fill in the blank, answer all that apply option as well. I have already started preparing for the test and would love to have some group study sessions to whoever is interested. Good Luck!

ADN Program Admission Criteria Applications will generally be accepted from February through March for fall admission of the following academic school year. Applicants may apply for admission only once per year. The Program has adopted the Chancellor’s Advisory Model Prerequisites for Enrollment in the ADN Program which determines admission by the following criteria: (1) Overall college GPA – 2.5 or above; (2) Biology Core (anatomy, physiology, and Microbiology) GPA – 2.5 or above; English 1 A (Composition and Reading) GPA – 2.5 Additionally, biology core repetitions will adversely affect the overall score. A withdrawal, D, or F is counted as a repetition. A formula approved by the State Chancellor’s Office will compute your cut score. Those who score above 80% will be required to take the ATI TEAS 6.0, and receive a passing score of 62%.
