  1. Will it be the same 5 year agreement they tried to do last time? Even if it's been years since it's happened? It was suspended for 6 months but it's been several years. aby advice to make the personal statement stronger? Should I say "I'm willing to do a monitoring program for up to 6 months" in my statement?
  2. Yes! It wasn't an easy decision. I started in HPRP but it's so crazy expensive that I stopped after a few months and opted for my license to be suspended for 6 months instead (the order was monitoring for 5 years or suspension for 6 months then petition to reinstate). It's been over 3 years and I am now working to reinstate. I have no idea if they're going to require further monitoring, but I am putting together a packet for reinstatement that includes observed drug screens, an addiction medicine doctors evaluation (which is what you have to do for HPRP) and a few other things that hopefully will make it strong, all those I dontHAVE to do. So hopefully it helps. You HAVE to have character letters from at least 2 people- notarized, along with CE, and a personal statement but that's it. I don't mind if its something like 6 months monitoring, but 5 years? I've never been in trouble a day in my life. I'm not going to live my life around my career. You only get 1 life. You can have so many careers. Nursing is not the end, learn more /different skills. (For whoever needs to hear that). I really thought life was over but I'm okay now with everything and now have the confidence to go back strong. If they kick me to monitoring, I'll keep this thread updated, but I ain't doin it ? (at least not for years at a time). Do you know if when reinstating they will automatically put you back to HPRP? Or have you heard of people reinstating? I plan to submit my package probably end of march.
  3. Abbey reach out to me girl!
  4. Abbey! It's been a while girl , I didn't do HPRP but am now submitting reinstatement. How can I get ahold of you? Would love to see how you're doing
  5. Hello all, I had an incident more than 3 years ago that suspended my license which put me into HPRP. After all the expenses with the program I opted for my license to be suspended for 6 months. Fast forward to 2026 and I'm reinstating my license. Has anyone been thru the reinstatement? Did they still require monitoring?
  6. Is the 90 day a monitoring program prior to HPRP? What kinds of tests do they do? Hair/urine/blood??
  7. If I am sent to HPRP and I participate, this shows forever?!?!
  8. How likely is it to get a hair test? This is very concerning for me....
  9. Hi, I may be falling victim of HPRP too. Don’t they get past medical history? Im a new nurse and struggled with mental health recently and was prescribed medications. If I want to limit conversation about mental health, how will I do that if they have my PMH where I sought out help? ?
  10. How long was your ATD monitoring?
  11. How long do you have to stay in HPRP? Waiting to see but I may have to do this.. is the board involved? Will my license be revoked? I’ve heard horror stories about HPRP
