Accused of diverting non narcotics
I haven't ever seen a complaint of non-narcotic diversion (or anything of lesser offense) go to the BON. isn't this kind of complaint usually handled in house by DON, ADON, Nurse manager? investigated and disciplinary action decided within facility? WOW!, I was thinking same as above, does someone hate you? have a grudge for some reason? or possibly could the reporter be the guilty one?

Help! Tested positive
OMG, NO. do NOT volunteer for this ***. its a money making, account draining, near death experience. And I haven't even started yet. you have NO idea the extent of the commitment. there are lab errors every day. demand a repeat. volunteer the hair test to clear your reputation. there needs to be a "chain of custody" for anything related to their testing. cannot be just any lab. has to be an approved one.

Florida IPN
thank you catsmeow1972. urine is 60 plus pay a 25$ collectors fee at the time of the collection. ya, I too got a prepaid card for this purpose. man, I have not seen one positive comment in regards to program . so far I see cookie cutter contracts and lots of $$ going out the wallet. ha, if there was any to start. has anyone ever heard of or know of anyone that was getting a "scholarship" to cover HPRP expenses in order to maintain a contract?

Florida IPN
catsmeow1972, question. what state are you in. I've never heard of Labpro. I HAVE to use "First Source" here in michigan. the program only gave me two places to go to provide my drug tests and there is a $25 collectors fee each time and then the lab itself charges my debit card their fee. I see I will need a second job just to pay for lab and group meetings. damn.. I heard this was a very expensive program. but, as they keep reminding me, "its for the safety of the public". such crap. one comment on here stated her group was 500$ an hour and the Dr. was an ***. wth? how is this really suppose to help anyone. I wish I didn't need to work or didn't need the income and insurance from a nursing position. I have been rather enjoying riding this intake process out doing mindless, simple, yet rewarding in its own way, work. AND, I have absolutely never been thanked more or treated with more respect working as a housekeeper in a run down motel and a receptionist/do everything to keep the hair dressers free to cut at a hair salon, ever. I need a money tree

Managing chronic insomnia with RX meds while on TPAPN?
well this is not good news for me then either. I have been on restoril on and off for many years now. only get prescribed 8-10-12 pills a month (to reduce ability to OD or abuse) anyway. I had it on my list of medications also. yesterday my contract came via email and NOPE restoril is NOT on the list. my contract reads same as above: no mood altering drugs , ect... also abstinence from alcohol. rather irritating as a margarita now and then is rather refreshing. not a drinker anyway. but , really? this to me is not a monitoring program. they are dictating much more than how and when we are being n. denying a person their perscribed meds is nuts. so with insomnia, are we suppose to do OT shifts if no sleep the night before because we are not allowed to get what we need to maintain our own stability? I am feeling so defeated.

Peth test IPN Florida
that is really strange. the others that were negative were more invasive. my guess is lab error in some way. they probably wouldn't admit it tho. request a DO OVER.

TnPap (Tennessee)
TnPAP tenessee. WOW!, unbelievable. how women treat women. nursing is very catty. a simple negative result shouldve been enough. if wanted hair, shouldve told you and skipped the urine all together. I am learning that they (state) wants all who enter, to sign.. maybe they get funding this way. I really don't know. so far, I am also seeing that the monitoring agreements being offered/given to clients are not patient focused. they are all the same. state never should have offered you an agreement if all tests negative. holy crap girl. I don't think if I were in your shoes I would sign it. would get an attorney. get state off my back. then I think I'd be looking at going to HR and TURN HER POMPOUS BUTT IN! women need to have other womens (nurses especially) back. No one else is going to.
