  1. Hi everyone, I got a credit check on August 6th and I just got my finalist email today. My EFC is 0 and I have done at least 2 experiences in working with underserved communities. and I'm currently in the first year of my ABSN-MSN program with a specialty in women's health. Congrats to everyone who has received an email so far! I have a question though, it says in the email that being a finalist is not a guarantee of an award, as the awards are subject to the availability of funds. What are the chances that I will be awarded? Thank you so much!
  2. Hi @chelsea21! (sorry allnurses is not letting me message anyone privately for some reason) I just have another question: for the academic letter of recommendation, did you have to ask your post-undergrad professor (when you took your prereqs) OR did you get it from your undergrad professor? I know they said in the application to ask from the "most recent academic program" but IDK if undergrad counts as most recent ?
  3. Oh my gosh, this made me feel so relieved. I'll for sure keep these things in mind. Thank you so much for your insights! ❤️ I appreciate it!
  4. Hi everyone! I started looking into the scholarship, but I can't help but feel hopeless because of how competitive it is. Is anyone on the same boat?
  5. Hi everyone! I got into UPenn for their ABSN/MSN Program. Their program is super expensive and it's stressing me out so much right now. I'm the first in my family to attain a higher education and the first one to receive an education from an Ivy League so I really want to go to this program. I'm not receiving any help from my parents so I really hope I get this scholarship. The main reason why I chose nursing in the first place is because I want to provide care to marginalized and underserved communities in the future. But because I just graduated from undergrad a year ago, I don't have many experiences. I only have 1.5 years volunteering as a scribe at a free clinic, 1.5 years at a school-based health center, and 3 months worth of shadowing providers at rural villages in Mexico. These are really the only experiences I have in terms of working for underserved communities. I got a 3.34 GPA from undergrad. I'm not sure if they also take into account classes post-grad but for that, I have about 3.8 GPA. What are my chances of getting in?
  6. Hi everyone, I haven't heard anything back from Seattle U yet, should I email admissions?
  7. Good luck to everyone waiting!
  8. Hi everyone! Long-time lurker here. I just withdrew my application as I'm committing to another school. Best of luck to everyone!

  10. Is the priority deadline November 1st, 11:59 PM EST?
  11. Is the deadline November 2nd at 11:59pm (PST)?
  12. Ohh this is helpful! Thank you so much!
  13. @K.quino16 thank you! Did you change the formatting (ex. font and size)? I was thinking of changing them but keeping the structure the same. What do you think?
  14. Hi everyone! How did you format your resume?
