  1. I’m just finishing iop. Does anyone know if everyone automatically gets an overtime restriction with their contract??? Mine is due to dui... I have a lot of fines and other expenses I need to pay.

    Was this at board prep
  3. WOW!! I know these posts are older but I also went to board prep and they said my PEth came back one point over. I had been sober for only months prior to the test but sober long enough to pass the PEth. I am doing another eval with a different evaluator and I am in fear that they are all corrupt. I have now been sober for one year. I went there to ask for my results in person. The guy was all weird and shaky. Seemed shady as ever to me! He gave me a print out and it didn’t look like legit lab work paperwork. If I were able to I would bring them to court. I don’t want this to continue to happen to people.
  4. Also... let’s say I complete the recommended treatment program... then they create the contract for me to sign and that is when I see what restrictions they place on me? How long after I complete the treatment does the contract get created and I am able to get back to work?
  5. This is a nightmare. So, it looks like I could be paying $200-250 a month to be in the program on top of the high fine I have to pay within three years to the doh?
  6. I heard we have to pay for weekly meetings? How much is that? Also do they put overtime restrictions on your license and for how long?
  7. Like he himself hasn’t tried pot before! Come on! Effin ridiculous. Did they recommend inpatient or just the iop?
  8. OK thanks! Sounds like I might see ya there!
  9. Thanks so much. Just sent email.
  10. Thanks! My only options are two in Gainesville which have absolutely horrid reviews.
  11. Anyone know if Dr ****** in Tampa is an ethical evaluator?

Thank you.... it was the dried spot test. Does isopropyl alcohol affect it at all? I am also always anemic. I’ve had blood transfusions in the past because of this.

I voluntarily tried to enter ipn after a second dui conviction. When I went for the eval I was only two months sober at the time but still long enough to pass a PEth. They said I tested positive at a 21 and the cutoff is 20. The evaluator accused me up and down of lying and having had a binge drinking episode within the past month prior to the eval. I paid $1,500 (While not working as a nurse mind you) and scheduled the eval voluntarily. Does it make any sense I would have drank knowing I was doing this? I would have just rescheduled the damn eval for a later date if I had slipped up or something like they accused me of. Now I’m wondering was it incidental exposure and what could it be? It wasn’t a ton of hand sanitizer.

Please keep us updated as I also had a false positive PEth
  15. I’m in very similar boat. Any info found out? Any advice an evaluators Or treatment facilities? I live near Tampa. I don’t trust any of them!! Who is the least shady? Also how long is inpatient treatment typically? How do people afford this? Did I basically just ruin any chance of having my career back?
