Has anyone completed the NIH Informatics practicum? If so what was your experience especially if you did it virtually? Also, does anyone know of other places that offer a virtual informatics practicum? Thanks in advance!

I am an FNP student looking for a preceptor for Fall 2021 in the Northern Virginia area. This is for my FNP1 clinical requiring 150 hours. I am willing to travel up to 2 hours if needed. I have an extremely flexible schedule and am available Monday-Saturday to complete clinicals. If anyone knows of a preceptor, would be willing to precept me, or have any recommendations, I would greatly appreciate it! Thank you!

I'm not sure if you will see this but I was wondering if you could explain how testing works? Are there certain "class days" tests will be on for example, only Tuesdays and Thursdays? Also, does the test need to be started at a certain time or during a time frame? Thanks in advance!

Prior to applying, I contacted the general recruiting page and they said for out of state They do phone interviews but I didn’t get the option when I received the email. I’m thousands of miles away and can’t be there because of school and my Capstone. It’s just frustrating since they say email prior to Monday if there are any issues but they never reply and are hard to get ahold of.

Anyone interviewing from out of state? I received an email to interview but it’s in person. I know that they do phone/ video interviews because I asked a recruiter prior to applying. I messaged the recruiter letting them know I’m out of state but I worry cause the interview is Tuesday and the recruiter usually doesn’t respond.

Did anyone apply to Ortho or Plastic Surgery? If so, have you heard anything back? On my applications Ortho says they are reviewing applications and Plastic Surgery still says applied.

I got the same email but I was not asked about dates. Also, is the NICU an option? In the email with the preferences, NICU wasn’t listed.

I was reading a thread from a previous Children's Cohort and I believe that it just means they are no longer accepting applications, but are reviewing them. Fingers crossed.

Hi everyone! I applied to Ortho and Plastic Surgery Med-Surg. Does anyone have a timeline or heard anything? Also, my still says "applied".

I applied to HCA Mckinney, Dallas, and Plano. I also applied for Medical City Children's as well as a few positions at Parkland.

I have not heard anything. My application still says Active on the website. Today was the last day to submit applications, so hopefully we hear something soon!
