  1. @LiveByGrace OMG yay! I can’t wait to meet you soon!
  2. @BordonggoRN thank you! I will definitely follow up with her tomorrow! But yea I've been checking my spam emails as well just to make sure, hopefully we get our stuff soon since we start in less than 2 weeks. Super excited and anxious!
  3. @LiveByGrace same! I didn’t even ask, but my friend who had interviewed for Dallas said 26 was starting rate with 3 dollars extra for night and weekend. I’m hoping it’s the same for us. Someone else that I know works at medical city north hills and she started at 26.52 so hopefully we’re not that far off either. did anyone else get hired for Arlington in the oncology unit? @BordonggoRN do you know who you’re recruiter was? Mine was Ms. Bowie so she said I would get the offer letter that Tuesday after our conversation but she hasn’t sent anything. I know she’s been texting me as well so I wasn’t sure whether to text her or call her tomorrow to find out when I would get the letter.
  4. @ava_logusta I hope so too! She told me I wouldn’t go through the silent period since I was told Tuesday that I was offered the position so I had to tell her yes or no that same day.
  5. Does anyone know when offer letters are going out? I applied last minute when they posted on facebook that they were still looking to fill the October residency. I received a phone call Thursday and interviewed Saturday. I received an offer yesterday for Arlington in their oncology unit. She said she would send me an offer letter but I haven’t received it yet.
  6. I received a rejection email as well and that I was placed on a waitlist. Pretty bummed I also applied to THR and haven't heard anything.
  7. Hello! I applied for L&D and Med Surg but have yet to receive anything yet. I applied for HEB and Dallas. Hopefully, I hear from them soon, I just graduated this week so I'm hoping to get into a residency in October.
  8. Hello! I also applied for their October cohort, I got the email as well that they received all my documents. I'm hoping to hear from them soon, I applied to their women's services and Oncology unit. I also just applied to Texas Health, hopefully we hear fro them soon.
  9. @clarria24 not sure. I believe its 36 hour per week. I was reading their FAQs and nurse residents much work 72 hours per pay period. My only guess is that its 3 12 hour shifts per week. Has anyone had any notifications for interviews?
  10. Hello everyone! But yes they added new openings and I believe most are closed. Good luck to everyone and hopefully everyone gets an interview!
  11. @clarria24 I only applied to ones I wanted, I saw there was a lot for Med Surg which I am not to interested in. If there is a specific specialty you want I say go for those! A nurse once told me to look at each one and see where you fit based on the job description for each one. I'm applying for the July ones because I finish in June.
  12. Hello everyone! I created this thread for those who are interested or applying to the residency program at Parkland for the summer 2020. I'm hoping this thread is helpful for those wanting to talk and ask questions. Good luck to everyone!
