  1. Hey it’s been like 2 years since I’ve taken those classes but , there are no tests to study for it’s all papers and projects and message boards . They have a rubric for every project and thing you have to follow. If you follow those you will do well. I will say by the end of it you will get tired of writing 8-12 page papers . But every single class there will be a paper you have to do and you are taking 2 classes every month and a half there wasn’t a hard class they were just time consuming after you have worked 3 days in a row! The only class that was a headache was nursing research . Take that class by itself ! Because the whole class is the paper
  2. Oh and I didn't find it too difficult while working. There are no test. every class is all papers and projects . Every 2 weeks your turning in a paper or a project
  3. RN-BSN 3315/3335 Has any nurse had these classes yet ? Are they both a paper class like all the previous classes? Do I need to waste my money for a book I didn't read in the previous classes ? How are the quizzes and discussion boards??
  4. Tried to tell people that ..you have learn the concepts and not try and remember answers and go off of the score on your practice test. I had a free Kaplan free trial.. I didn't care for the tree.. It all comes down to this.. What is this question asking ... ?? Is it a ob, cardiac ,med surg, respiratory or peds questions.. is the answering matching up with the answer . And when you get that paper back that says what section you fail.. you need to throw it away because you need to study the NCLEX all over again.. you don't get the same test and the same types of questions
  5. Sorry tough. Break... I failed the first time also ..and passed the second time
  6. You can pass at 130 questions.. I did it.. I heard if your last question is a easy question and you get it right then you pass.. I passed had an easy question about oxygen safety and I knew I got it right... Yeah and I made sure I didn't take my test close to a weekend so I wouldn't be wondering all weekend
  7. Can you tell people on here how you studied..what kind of NCLEX you got(what was emphasized , How many SATA , drag and drop , exhibits ,
  8. CONGRATS RN ?. It's nothing like seeing that website update with your name on it
  9. What did the email say?? Sorry, But seriously from this moment forward you need to quit checking message boards, turn off the TV, turn off facebook and Instagram until you take your test. You need to be doing NCLEX 8-5pm m-f and testing sat and Sunday. And you need to be reviewing your answers from previous day's from 6-10p before you go to bed. I don't know about you but I said I wasn't taking that test over again . That's too much money to be giving away. Plus I didn't want to take it over again with the old rules in July..hopefully you can take it under the news rules Good luck and see you in 45 -50 days
  10. No refused to do quick results ..no need to pay 8$ to see if I failed faster . we are fast here in Texas with the results . yeah I took the test wed both.times at like 12 and the fail letter came Monday (post marked that last Fri) The second time website was updated the same Friday with my license number and the official pass letter came the next Fri Let us know what happens. You can also tell if you failed if your temp.license is removed from the state website and your if your NCLEX info is still on the websites
  11. How many SATA , drag and drop and math did you half. What kind of NCLEX did you think you had.. If you look at my original post (2nd time test taker )..I thought I failed also... Also read what I did to pass the second time Plus someone said on Reddit that PVT doesn't work if you had to take 130
  12. If you got a easy last question and got it right then you passed. The key is getting all the priority questions right. You should know by Friday... I took mine on a wed and my license was uploaded Fri at like 3pm . I got the offical pass letter from the mail by like the next Friday When I failed I got the fail letter the Monday after I took the test in a small envelope from the state...which was dated the Fri after I took the test
  13. I started studying the next day after I failed until I tested.. did over 150-200 a day. Quit reading Hurst 2 weeks before.just question 2wks straight. Before then read the book like the review days. Plus did the remidation question you supposed to get from Hurst when you tell them you fail. Likely to pass the first time , high chance of passing the second time. Like I said in my post you have to get that lacharity book and do a chapter a day when you wake up
  14. Yeah because in Texas it's only good for 45 days and if you fail the NCLEX they remove the temp license from the website and you cAnt practice until you pass. So a job isn't gonna train you and fail and then hold your spot for 45 days while you retest
  15. It's takes you a month to test regardless minimum depending on how quickly you get your paper work in. When I scheduled mine a few weeks ago.. there was a gap in there not because of c-19 it was because there were no slots... It takes 10-15 days for your state to process your paper work and another 10-15 days for pearson to process What people don't tell you the testing center isn't all NCLEX.. people are in there taking ..GRE, mcat, lsat ,regular test for what ever college they go to online. You don't start and end as a group. People are constantly coming and going in the room So basically the testing center is renting out seats. When you finally get your att...a calendar is going to pop up and if it's not greyed out you can pick that day and choose the time. Get what ever date is available and check every day and you can switch your date ,because days open up. Some one taking a mcat may decide they arent ready and cancel one day and you can get thier slot
  16. John Hopkins ? wowwwwww. Just wowwwwww
  17. Was the last question a easy one or a hard one..was it SATA ??what was your first question? Give us a break down of math, drag and drop ,photos you get.
