yeah I got here (vancouver wa) close to portland unfortunately but vancouver is nice but if your from the south or east coast be ready in how sketchy people are here their actually pretty mean and lie all the time its really discouraging. my pay is 38 an hour at a nursing home which is a huge jump from 25 the only problem is people definitely something to consider

hi everyone i am in online bsn program and will be moving to vancouver wa in june and would be interested in online psych np program but there is not much there it seems online. in spokane there is one i think and oregon does not have online....is anyone in same situation? also to keep on topic how is everyone liking the washington area and how is it trying to work and go to np school seems like online would be the best option

interesting because i am moving to vancouver wa and i am coming from western nc mountains where weather is usually nice and colors are nice but as an rn i will probaly never see more than 25 an hour with no shift diff and its 22 at the hospital i am in bsn program and that may get me an extra dollar but thts it. I see pay in the 40s online out west and im thinking what am i doing here?

i am on the same schedule to washington state but will probably be working at the hospital next to vancouver wa because i am moving there so if you have time let me know how its going.

i am moving to washington state but have a clean record but i had a dui when i was 18 but even now at 32 it may show up on your record even of i had one beer or whatever...you just have to see what shows up on your record ahead of time so they can't say you trying to lie if they see additional stuff...hope that helps....also you guys in washington state feel free to post anything on my profile i don't know anyone out there and will be moving to washington st in june
