  6. Hello! I received an offer on Mar 5th for Tele3W @ Scripps Green August 2020 cohort :-) I just wanted to stop by and let all you new grads know not to give up or lose hope! I currently have been working on a ms/tele floor for about 3 months now and have been interviewing elsewhere in between. I never wanted to be a ms/tele nurse; however, I quite enjoy the busy pace of it all now. I’m sure you’re tired of hearing this over and over again but DO keep your options open! If it’s not your dream job, that’s OK! Use other opportunities as a learning process/stepping stone towards your dream job! It’ll be worth it and you’ll get there eventually. I honestly thought I’d never get the position at Scripps, this is my second time interviewing. I came to the interview straight off a 12 hour night shift and surprisingly made it through! So keep going! You’ll get there sooner than you think! If God (or whatever higher power you believe in) brings you to it, he’ll bring you through it ? You guys got this! Goodluck and CONGRATS to everyone! ?
  7. Hi Everyone! I have an interview with the Scripps Green panel next week and I wanted to reach out in hopes of finding any advice and/or tips on nailing the interview? Possibly any questions you remember them asking, how the environment was, who the interviewers were, etc.? Any advice is appreciated! Congrats and goodluck to all who have applied, have future interviews, work at Scripps currently! Thank you ☺️
  8. @SanDiego_RN_BSN @NurseMayzla Did you guys get interviewed by the DEU panel with 2 women? There were two different panels for the DEU and that is so weird, I didn't get a picture taken... but I had my photo on my portfolio that I brought. That sounds like a good sign for you though!
  9. @MsNita83 Did your folder with your resume, cover letter, and credentials include a photo of you? I know some organizations prefer that; however, I know many also do not. The college I went to advises us to do this, but I do not know if it's the smartest move lol.
  10. That sounds very intimidating, but I will definitely prepare as best as I can for the situation at hand! Thank you for all the info!
  11. Hello @shuTTer99, I have an interview with La Jolla DEU at the end of October for the Jan/Mar2020 cohort! Do you happen to remember the type of questions they asked you or any tips for the interview? Also what is the difference between the DEU and the normal program? I am very nervous and would appreciate any information ? I have received so many rejection letters since retrieving my license in April and would love to prepare the best that I can! I'd love to connect and pick your brain! Thank you so much in advance! Hi @joaner83! I know this thread is over a year old, but I have an interview with La Jolla DEU at the end of October for the Jan/Mar2020 cohort and would love to connect and pick your brain regarding the interview process! 12. Hello @ktrnsd! I know this thread is a bit over a year old, but I have an interview with the DEU in La Jolla at the end of October. How was the interview process? What is the difference between the DEU and other programs? Any tips and advice would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!
  13. @MomoTheMurse What is the difference between the DEU program vs the regular new grad program?
  14. @RhinoRN I don't really have hospital experience either; however, I've been a caregiver for the special needs and elderly community for an extensive time.
  15. @esb_sushine Congrats on your RN journey! And thank you for the response, I greatly appreciate the time taken to respond. How and what you would sing?! Oh my, I would probably respond that I wouldn't because my patient would probably be more stressed because of my horrible singing voice ? Thank you once again!
