  1. I’ve worked there several times as a CNA (I float), and it’s definitely one of my favorite units! I’m a little jealous that you get to start there. The nurses are so wonderful. If you give me your email I’ll send you some specifics!
  2. I think they typically take awhile to get back to people, I haven’t heard anything from Mercy since submitting my acceptance for the offer letter either. Definitely call if it makes you more comfortable but I don’t think you’re missing any correspondence at this point!
  3. I received an offer letter this morning at 9:34 for SD Mercy 4th floor (medical/acute). I’m so sorry for the stress that anyone is experiencing while waiting to hear back- this was my third application cycle at scripps and I know very well how stressful this experience can be. Don’t give up hope!!
  4. No problem! I know the wait can be so nerve-wracking. I didn’t interview with a specific unit, but with Mercy as a whole. They asked which unit I had a preference for which I think is hopefully a good sign! Definitely crossing my fingers. How did yours go? Did you interview with a specific unit? Sending positive vibes to you!
  5. I also interviewed with the Mercy panel yesterday! ? We will all hear back in almost exactly 2 weeks. (I've interviewed with them twice before so I know the drill!) ?
  6. I am a SBFP CNA for Mercy and CV- My first 2 applications were for La Jolla but when I interviewed the first time, I hadn’t graduated or taken the NCLEX yet. The second time, I was licensed but I think I was turned down since none of the managers were familiar with me. This time, I am applying at Mercy as I work there and more people know me- I’ve had several managers (including mine) put in a good word so I am very hopeful that it works out! Good luck to you as well!!
  7. I’m an internal candidate interviewing at Scripps Mercy (SD). This is my third application/interview for Scripps. I’ve been a CNA with Scripps for a year, and have 4 years of experience as a CNA. I passed my boards in July. Fingers crossed that this time I’m successful- it is highly competitive out there! Good luck to everyone who is interviewing!
  8. Hi Everyone, Just thought I would start a thread for the Scripps New Grad RN application that just opened up for the January and March 2020 cohorts. Good luck to all who are applying!
  9. Got my second rejection today from the La Jolla DEU. I’m an internal candidate, and I have my RN license. It’s so frustrating not having access to individual feedback. I want to find out how to improve myself for next time.
  10. Also trying to remain optimistic!! As a side note- I believe they were waiting to send declination emails until the dates of their next new grad application cycle were posted (which they are now, at least on the internal scripps site.) If you are sent a declination email, it will say that you are encouraged to apply again, and it will post the date of their next application cycle: The next cohorts will be 1/6/20-10/10/20 and 3/16/2020-12/19/2020. Both of these cohorts will have interview opportunities on 10/31 and 11/01, so keep an eye out if you aren’t given an offer this time. At least the next new grad cycle isn’t too far away.
  11. Congratulations!! Did you get it just now or was the email from this morning? Trying to figure out if they will be sending out more offers today or not.
  12. No email yet! I hope they all go out today, I’m so anxious!
  13. Omg I hope we don't have to wait until Friday... I only heard her say it would take 2 weeks, but I might have misheard. That would be horrible!! ? Anyone else going crazy? Any tips to de-stress while we wait?
  14. I applied in the last cohort and got my follow-up email exactly 13 days after my interview, on Monday at 11:20 am (not that I'm hyper-focusing on this at all haha). 13 days after the interview would have been today, so I kind of expected the email to come through this afternoon. Hopefully tomorrow is the day we all hear back! Idk about all of you, but my nerves can't hold much longer. ??
  15. @MSNRN123 The last time I interviewed with Scripps, they didn’t ask for any follow up information after the interview. They just sent offers/declinations from that point, almost exactly two weeks after the interview. I included my letters of rec/references in my portfolio, and left a copy behind for them.
