Tips for nurses in their first year of nursing
I really needed to hear this because I've been beating myself up about not being fast enough or not knowing when someone asks me a question. Some doctors can make you feel very ignorant but I try to make sure that I'm not taking it too personal and respond to them in a way that shows them they don't intimidate me but be professional all in the same text. I try not to give my opinions or give a response at all to office gossip and as soon as it pops up I walk away. Sometimes I feel that some nurses take advantage of new people because they know that you're trying to learn so much and they find every thing that they can to interrupt you but as soon as you need them they're busy. The advice and tips that were given are brilliant and whenever I find myself feeling the way I described above I'll read the tips and remind myself that rome was not built in one night. Thank you;)

How Did a BSN Help Your Career (Or Not)
Do you all believe that everything happens for a reason? I just logged on and was anticipating finding information about a BSN and decided that I was going to check this site first. The question that was asked was great and the answers are what I needed to make my decision to move forward. Thanks to all of you. I hope you have a merry christmas and a happy new year.

Help!!!- Tips On How To Pass/prepare Nursing Licensure Exam
Hello Everyone, I'm new to the forum and I just wanted to introduce myself. I'm in the last semester of nursing for the second time and very frustrated. I feel that I know the information but I have poor test taking abilities. I don't know what to do with myself because I missed passing by less than 5 points. How do you pick yourself up from this predictiment? How do you put this behind you and move through the next semester? Do you all have suggestions for me. I use all of the tools from med surg incredibly easy, Hogans: reviews and rationales but my biggest issue is test taking but only on certain subjects. Any ideas or words of encouragement to the down and out nursing student.
