Hello! I have a friend at work who has an international nursing license and she does not know where to start to become licensed in NY. Can you offer some guidance? What is the first step?

Hi, all! Nursing student here! I'm looking around the boards to learn about different work environments. I'm curious about the work that RNs do for PP -- would anyone be willing to describe a "day in the life" for an RN working for PP? Also: how do you see your role changing in the coming years? @ColleenVZ don’t rescind your offer!! I’m sure that if you got in touch with financial aid at your university they could work something out with you. They’re there to help - don’t think of them as the enemy! It would be a shame to put your nursing career on hold for that reason.

@offmylawn Haha thanks for sharing! So in your experience HRSA was willing to work with you to get placement? How many Tier 1 facilities were in your area? Thanks again for your insight ?

@offmylawn would you be able to speak a bit about your previous experience with the award? I received a finalist notification this morning and I’m paralyzed by the thought of not finding a qualifying job.
